Joan Rivers Already Said What She Wanted Written On Her Tombstone

joan rivers joke written tombstone

We are absolutely devastated that Joan Rivers has passed away.

In an eerie twist, earlier in August a photographer jokingly asked Joan what she'd like to have written on her tombstone.

Here's what she said wanted as her epitaph in an off the cuff response:

"She had a great time."

We think this epitaph perfectly encapsulates Joan's positivity and buoyant personality. Clearly, she had such a great time while she was with us, as she made millions laugh.

We miss you, Joan. Rest in peace.

Everyone grieves in their own way.

A mother from Lake City, Florida created her own heartbreaking tribute to her son who passed away only five days after he was born.

Whitney Houston's Grave Finally Gets Headstone

whitneyhouston

With the recent deaths of James Gandolfini and Corey Monteith leaving all of us shocked, it's hard to believe that we're already well passed the year anniversary of Whitney Houston's passing.

Even harder to fathom is that it was only last week that the late singer received a tombstone. However, it was worth the wait.

The heart shaped headstone is now etched forever with the timeless Dolly Parton lyrics that helped make Whitney one for the ages: "I will always love you." Also written on the tombstone is her frequently used nickname, "THE VOICE."

A fitting tribute for someone who always had a lovely voice.

Whitney's gravesite is located in Westfield, New Jersey, and she is buried next to her father according to her wishes.

We miss you, Whitney, and just like your headstone says, we will always love you.
