Congrats, Alfonso Cuarón! After tonight, we bet you'll never come back to Earth!

Alfonso just won the award for Best Director at the Oscars tonight for his innovative film work on Gravity, and we're totally over the moon about his win!

He beat out The Wolf of Wall Street's Martin Scorsese, American Hustle's David O. Russell, Nebraska's Alexander Payne, and 12 Years a Slave's Steve McQueen! Talk about some tough competition!

Houston, we don't have a problem with their choice! We'll definitely lend you a hand for your handiwork behind the lens!

Gravity took home its fifth Oscar of the night for Best Editing!

Mark Sanger took the mic and gave his acceptance speech but poor Alfonso Cuarón got cut off!

Oh noes!

But maybe he'll be back up on stage for Best Director??

If this winning streak that Gravity has been on continues, we think he'll get to give his thanks!

Mark and Alfonso beat out American Hustle, Captain Phillips, Dallas Buyers Club and 12 Years a Slave in the category.

Emmanuel Lubezki took home the gold for his otherworldly behind-the-camera work he did for Gravity, winning the award for Best Cinematography at the Oscars tonight!

Going head to head helmet to helmet against The Grandmaster's Philippe Le Sourd, Inside Llewyn Davis'
Bruno Delbonnel, Prisoners' Roger Deakins, and Phedon Papamichael from Nebraska, Emmanuel managed to blast away from his competition!

Congrats, Emmanuel! After winning, you're probably hyperventilating as if your O2 tank was running low!

Gravity Wins The Award For Best Visual Effects At The 2014 Oscars!

Houston, we definitely don't have a problem here!

Gravity got off to a strong start in the technical categories as it won the award for Best Visual Effects at the 2014 Oscars!

The film managed to beat out some strong competition, including The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, Iron Man 3, The Lone Ranger, Star Trek Into Darkness!

We can't really argue with this pick here! Those effects were out of this world!!
