Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard Says All Businesses MUST Treat People Equally In Light Of Discriminatory Legislation & The NCAA Final Four Game

Recently, Indiana passed some legislation, stating that employees could refuse service to someone on religious grounds, which was clearly targeting the LGBT community.
On Monday, Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard let it be known that this is NOT okay and put an executive order into place which states that EVERYONE must follow the city's human rights ordinance, if the business receives government funds in some way. He also called for the state's civil rights laws to include the LGBT community "immediately."
NCAA President Mark Emmert kicked off the overall discussion, saying that he was "very concerned" about any sporting events being held there, including the Final Four, because of the discrimination in the Religious Freedom Restoration Act.
So, Ballard agreed and held a press conference where he discussed all of the issues. Most notably, he said:
