After almost a decade of How I Met Your Mother and thousands of angry fans later, we're all onto the next thing!

How I Met Your Dad!

Whilst the spin-off has yet to be picked up for an actual season, comparisons between the two are already starting to be made, and HIMYD star Greta Gerwig is here to set the record straight!

Greta Gerwig Crops Up At W Magazine's Pre-Golden Globes Luncheon

Greta Gerwig fails to pull off business chic at W magazine's Golden Globes luncheon.

Looks like Greta Gerwig kicked off awards season on the wrong foot.

The actress slash writer attended W magazine’s Golden Globes luncheon in El Lay on Saturday in mismatched fashion.

Sporting a white Marni crop top and the designer’s draped forest green skirt, Greta left a patch of her midsection exposed.

We would have preferred if her top was either a couple inches shorter or longer because as is, it looks a tiny bit awkward.

And the yellow Louis Vuitton clutch and bright, floral-printed Dolce & Gabbana pumps don’t mesh well together.

Though we are huge fans of her fishtail braid for this ensem!!

All in all, her business chic look wasn’t exactly flawless, but luckily Greta’s got plenty more events to get it right!
