no title

Four months after facing monumental backlash for acting in a Woody Allen film, Kate Winslet has finally hinted at the "bitter regrets" she's had in working with *certain individuals*!

Speaking at the London Critics' Circle Film Awards on Sunday, where she was honored with the Dilys Powell Award for Excellence in Film, the actress said in her acceptance speech:

"I wouldn't be able to stand here this evening, and keep to myself some bitter regrets that I have at poor decisions to work with individuals with whom I wish I had not."

As we reported, the 42-year-old has been criticized for starring in Allen's upcoming film Wonder Wheel — a role she has relentlessly gushed over throughout awards campaign season, along the filmmaker's "genius," while remaining silent on the accusations that have long surrounded the director.

Mira Sorvino Vows To NEVER Work With Woody Allen Again – And Apologizes For 'Turning A Blind Eye'!

no title

You can put Mira Sorvino's name on the growing list of actresses who regret working with Woody Allen.

Months after becoming one of the first women to accuse Harvey Weinstein of sexual harassment, the 50-year-old actress vowed to never work with the Annie Hall director again in an open letter addressed to his daughter Dylan Farrow.

Allen has long denied Dylan's allegations that he molested her when she was 7 years old. Despite a Connecticut prosecutor saying there was probable cause for a criminal case, the filmmaker was never charged — and Dylan has been fighting for support to this day.

Now in the dawn of the Time's Up movement, she's finally getting it. In a piece for the Huffington Post, Sorvino explained that she believes Dylan and stands by her "gratitude and solidarity."

The actress, who won an Oscar for her role in Allen's (Weinstein-produced) film Mighty Aphrodite, also confessed to turning a blind eye on Dylan's abuse allegations when working on the 1995 film.

Apologizing for swallowing "the media's portrayal" of the allegations against Allen as "an outgrowth of a twisted custody battle between Mia Farrow and him," Sorvino wrote:

greta gerwig letters lady bird music late night interview

Greta Gerwig is all of us.

On Monday, the Lady Bird director stopped by Seth Meyers' Late Night and opened up about how she got Alanis Morissette, Dave Matthews, and Justin Timberlake to license their music for her film. And, despite being a celebrated artist herself, Miz Gerwig fangirled like crazy in her letters to the A-listers.

In all three letters, Greta praised the musicians for their musical genius — let's just say it's utter perfection. However, the note that stood out to us the most was definitely the one Gerwig penned for Timberlake. Not only did she tell the pop sensation that his music corresponded with her "very awkward puberty," but she also informed him that she "pretty much wouldn't be an adult without" him.

Be sure to take a look at the awkward, yet endearing missives for yourself (below)!!
