She might be able to write the list of groceries she needs during trips to the super market, but it appears that when Britney Spears does, in fact, begin her still-undetermined Las Vegas residency soon, that will be the only place she's allowed to spend any of her hard-earned money!

At least, with her explicit discretion, anyway!

Even though the pop sensation has released two albums, embarked on two world tours, and presided as a judge on last season of The X Factor since her 2008 meltdown, she still has conservators in place to help manage her financial affairs!

Say goodbye to annual pap smears!

The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force has released new guidelines on cervical cancer screenings and determined that women over 21 should no longer receive a Pap annually, but instead once every three years.

Women over 30 should be combining the Pap test and HPV testing every 3-5 years, while women UNDER 21 are no longer recommended to have a cervical cancer screening. Previous guidelines recommended testing three years after they began to have sexual intercourse.

A four year old took a turkey and cheese sandwich, a banana, a bag of chips, and apple juice to school.

But she could only eat three chicken nuggets instead. WTF?!?!

A lunch monitor told the little girl that her lunch was healthy enough so they gave a school lunch instead. Her mother asked what happened and she said she only had "three chicken nuggets."

USDA guidelines state that only pre-K lunches need the following servings: one meat, one grain, and two fruits or a vegetable.

A spokesperson for the Division of Child Development and Early Education and Child Development at the Department of Health and Human Services said that the homemade lunch should have been allowed.

The mom stated that she packs her daughter's lunch by what she eats. The youngster doesn't like vegetables so she eats them at home under mom's watchful eye.

On top of this, the school BILLED the mom for the lunch!

Seems like this was a bit overboard for a perfectly satisfactory lunch.

This also comes after the fact that the USDA said pizza was a vegetable.

This all seems so unfair!

We think everyone can agree that Britney Spears has essentially turned her life around since her 2008 psychiatric meltdown, which resulted in her father Jamie Spears taking conservatorship of her assets, finances, and decisions. However, this apparently means that in the law's eyes, she's mentally incapable of not only testifying in Sam Lufti's lawsuit, but also getting married to beau Jason Trawick if she wanted to!

The pop star recently revealed in an interview that she would happily marry Jason if "the time was right," but according to California attorney David E. Wohl:

"For a legal marriage to take place in California, a person must have the ability to make legally binding decisions. Just signing the marriage license requires this. Because Britney is under a conservatorship for all intents and purposes she cannot get married. The conservatorship would have to be set aside before she can legally tie the knot."

Seriously, this seems like such a technicality!

We personally don't think it would do any good for her to have to go and face Lufti after everything he put her through, but we're sure that if she did want to get married, her family and her team would be more than happy to make the proper arrangements to let her legally do that!

She's come so far, and seems to be doing so well, we would hate for something like this to hinder that in any way!

It's a small step, but at least a step in the right direction.

New Mormon guidelines to be used worldwide by church leaders have been published and there have been some small, but significant changes in their attitude toward homosexuality.

The new handbook has eliminated the suggestion that same-sex relationships "distort loving relationships" and that gays should be ashamed and atone for their "homosexual thoughts or feelings."

It also says that celibate gay Mormons who are "worthy and qualified in every other way" should be allowed to go on church assignments, participate fully in temple rituals, and even have "callings."

Openly gay and active Mormon Mitch Mayne says that the changes are "baby steps in the right direction. At least the handbook takes the damning terminology out of it."

We agree. Of course there are many more changes that need to be changed when it comes to church leaders' attitudes toward homosexuality, but this just opens doors for positive change.
