There's A Shape Of Water Dildo, And It's… Not The Strangest We've Ever Seen…

no title

The Shape Of Water is a beautiful, unusual love story which has garnered tons of critical acclaim and awards.

So of course there's a sex toy based on it!

Director Guillermo Del Toro spared audiences gratuitous footage of the Amphibian Man's, well, footage, but just the implication inspired the people at XenoCatArtifacts to create a dildo just for the film.

The initial Etsy run already sold out, but io9 confirms another run will be ready soon — just in time for the Oscars!

TBH — this isn't even the weirdest sex toy we've ever seen. Don't believe us??

Out Of All The Celebrities Who Believe In Aliens, This UFO Story Is The Funniest!

We've heard several stories of close encounters, but we've definitely never heard a reaction like Guillermo del Toro's!

The Shape Of Water director told the story during an interview in front of an audience of students at Loyola Marymount University's School Of Film & TV, and it must be read to be believed:

"I know this is horrible. You sound like a complete lunatic, but I saw a UFO. I didn't want to see a UFO. It was horribly designed. I was with a friend [at] a place called Cerro del Cuatro, "Mountain of the Four," and outside, in the the periphery of Guadalajara. We said, ‘Let's go to the highway.' We sit down to watch the stars and have the beer and talk. We were the only guys by the freeway. And we saw a light on the horizon going super-fast, not linear. And I said, ‘Honk and flash the lights.' And we started honking. And it went from there to here — like 1,000 meters away — in less than a second, and it was so crappy. It was a flying saucer, so clichéd, with lights [blinking]. It's so sad: I wish I could reveal they're not what you think they are. They are what you think they are. And the fear we felt was so primal. I have never been that scared in my life. We jumped in the car, drove really fast. It was following us, and then I looked back and it was gone. So, you know, judge me. I have no implant."

Amazing. The man saw a flying saucer and thought it wasn't cool enough! Guess we should expect as much from such a visionary sci-fi/fantasy filmmaker! Ha!

We know some celebs who are probably plenty jealous of del Toro right now…

In 2007, director Rob Zombie did his best to remake the classic, and the flick even had a sequel in 2009, but neither one quite lived up to Carpenter's original.

You know we're gonna be seeing this in IMAX!

Tom Hiddleston may be known for playing one of the absolute sexiest villains of all time… but his latest movie may just give him a brand new claim to fame.

That's because Loki himself will be showing off his bare behind in the upcoming Guillermo Del Toro horror flick Crimson Peak!

But that's not even the best part…

Tom thinks that women so often have to show off their goods for the camera, that Hollywood's leading men should offer up their naked bodies to make things more equal — We completely agree, Tom.

In fact there are several other super sexy guys who've shown it all on this list!

Charlie Hunnam Bares His Ripped Chest & Broken Heart — Talks Crying Over Having To Leave 50 Shades Of Grey!

Oh Charlie!

Charlie Hunnam recently sat down with V Man magazine and as well as posing for some HOT pics (above) talked quite a bit about his departure from playing Christian Grey in Fifty Shades Of Grey!

[ Photos: Sexy First Pics Of Charlie As King Arthur Will Make You Want To Grab Your Lancelot! ]

Though Jamie Dornan did a solid job in the adaptation of E.L. James' erotic novel by the same title, we think Hunnam could have been great — and the Sons of Anarchy star has his own mixed feelings about his involvement.

Charlie said of backing out of the film:

"Oh, it was the worst professional experience of my life. It was the most emotionally destructive and difficult thing that I've ever had to deal with professionally. It was heartbreaking."

Part of the reason the 35-year-old had to decommit from Fifty Shades was because he had already promised Guillermo Del Toro he'd sign on for the upcoming horror movie, Crimson Peak. Apparently Hunnam is a man of his word as he said:

It turns out Justice League Dark, the Guillermo Del Toro movie that would utilize the more mystical characters from DC Comics (Deadman, Zatanna, Swamp Thing, and of course John Constantine), isn't dead yet!

When the big slate of superhero movies were announced last month, the supernatural flick was noticeably absent, leading many to believe it was gone.

But according to Forbes, the first
