man kills himself during nascars nra 500 sponsored event(1)

Oh no!

During yesterday's NASCAR National Rifle Association 500 event, 42-year-old Kirk Franklin took his life with a self-inflicted gun shot to his head during the Sprint Cup race at the Texas Motor Speedway.

It is reported that Franklin got into an argument with some people "in or around a pickup truck," and right after he was done bickering, he took his life.

Police spokeswoman Cpl. Tracey Knight revealed that alcohol may have played a major role in his suicide, and even though we're sad that he's gone, we're happy to hear that no one else was hurt during the shooting.

Colombian Soccer Fans Bring Dead Friend's Body To Game!

Filed under: Wacky, Tacky & TrueSad SadSoccer

Now that's dedication to the game!

A group of friends brought their deceased friend in a coffin to a Colombian soccer game!

Not quite a real life Weekend At Bernies re-enactment, but probably the closest anyone can legally get!

In a tragic death, 17-year-old Christopher Jacome was gunned down while playing the game he loved.

The boy was a member of a particularly aggressive Colombian soccer fan club, "Barra del Indio" who carried the boys body around the streets after his funeral, then stormed the stadium.

A member of the fan club told the press:

"They don't let in the 'barras' (fanatics) but yes, a cadaver. This is the only part of the world where this has happened."

Although you probably won't understand what the heck they are saying, check out the footage from Colombia above to see how it all goes down!
