Oh no!
During yesterday's NASCAR National Rifle Association 500 event, 42-year-old Kirk Franklin took his life with a self-inflicted gun shot to his head during the Sprint Cup race at the Texas Motor Speedway.
It is reported that Franklin got into an argument with some people "in or around a pickup truck," and right after he was done bickering, he took his life.
Police spokeswoman Cpl. Tracey Knight revealed that alcohol may have played a major role in his suicide, and even though we're sad that he's gone, we're happy to hear that no one else was hurt during the shooting.
