Now we're starting to learn more about Stephen Belafonte's little run-in with the feds over the possibility of illegal firearms…
As you'll remember from yesterday, we reported on Mel B's ex dealing with a scary ATF shakedown after he was allegedly in possession of illegal firearms — and apparently, the ATF wasn't able to find anything.

Apparently now, it has been revealed that Belafonte was in the crosshairs in the first place because his own brother was bragging about Belafonte owning a gun he wasn't allowed to own!
It all started with the ATF going to a judge last week and asking for a warrant based on the brother's comments, and the fact that Stephen was apparently convicted of domestic violence in 2003. (He allegedly got into a drunken fight with the mother of his child, according to TMZ.)
As part of the deal in his conviction, Belafonte is no longer allowed to own firearms — which would make his brother's bragging a big deal as far as the ATF is concerned.
And yet, as we reported, nothing was apparently found in the search of Belafonte's home.

Will Donald Trump ever learn?!
The GOP candidate for President was at it again on Friday, arguing that Hillary Clinton should disarm her bodyguards if she were really serious about gun control — another ridiculous statement from a person wanting to lead the country.

UPDATE 12:48 EST: According to a Monday report from TMZ, the drugs found in the rapper's car were steroids and NOT illegal narcotics (AKA a controlled substance). The steroids in question belonged to Desiigner's driver. As of now, there's a good possibility the charges will dropped.
Well, things are getting slightly better for Desiigner.
The rapper was arrested yesterday on drug and weapons charges, but now, at least one of those BIG felony charges has been dropped!

Cops busted the 19-year-old along with four others in his SUV for criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of drugs with intent to sell. The celeb was also hit with a charge of criminal possession of a loaded weapon and menacing.
According to TMZ, the other driver involved in the road rage incident called cops claiming the Timmy Turner musician pointed a gun at him, and reported the SUV's license plate number. Police then tracked the rising rapper's car, and after searching it, reportedly found Oxycontin and other drugs in the vehicle.
Desiigner is currently still in custody, along with the four others.

Everyone is still trying to figure out exactly what went down at Chris Brown's LA home on Tuesday morning.
As you know, the controversial singer was arrested after a nine-hour standoff with police sparked by Baylee Curran's accusations that Chris threatened her with a gun after she admired some jewelry.
The 27-year-old has since vehemently denied the claims while possible cracks in Curran's story come to light.
As authorities continue to investigate the situation, the Loyal artist's attorney Mark Geragos told the LA Times that C.B. "cooperated fully" with police while slamming the former pageant queen's narrative about what went down:
"It has become apparent that the allegations are not just false but fabricated."

Aaaaaaaand Donald Trump once again has proven why he's the worst!
The real estate mogul-turned-candidate was speaking at a rally in North Carolina on Tuesday, when — in a passing comment that didn't attract much notice at first — he went WAY off the deep end against Hillary Clinton and those around her.

The Donald was talking about gun rights and gun control, and was trying to make a point that he was concerned whether Supreme Court justices nominated by Clinton, if she were to win the presidency, would take away gun rights.
It was during that tirade that he uttered this ridiculous sentence (below):

After Connecticut Senator Chris Murphy's 14-hour filibuster on Wednesday prompted a vote on gun control regulations, we hoped something was FINALLY going to change.
Instead, the Senate has blocked four proposals during the vote on Monday.

But even this terrible tragedy couldn't get the two parties in the Senate to agree on a measure.
Iowa Senator Charles Grassley pitched a plan that would increase money for background checks. However, it overhauled language that prevented people with mental illness from purchasing firearms.
But, Democratic opponents felt it would diminish the protections that are already in place,
