Well, boy. This is awkward.

Recently, these pictures (above) began circulating the net of Courtney Love in some pretty affectionate positions with actor Michael Pitt, which prompted many to assume that the two had gotten into a relationship!

Pretty fair assumption, considering the way these two seem to be interacting, no?

Which would be good and fine, except that Pitt actually played Love's deceased ex-husband, Kurt Cobain, in Gus Van Sant's Last Days!

Creeeeeeepy!

But hey - if they're both into it…congratulations?

Sure, she's been wonderful in recent dramatic films like The Kids Are All Right and A Single Man, but isn't it high time she returns to horror?

Previously, Julianne Moore has done her horror thing in Alfred Hitchcock's Gus Van Sant's Psycho, and Silence of the Lambs sequel Hannibal.

Now, Julianne will take another stab at the genre in Seventh Son, a horror story about "a young boy…who is training to be an exorcist in the 1700s." Trouble ensues when he meets the "most evil witch in the world."

More evil than Anjelica Huston in The Witches? Really???

Looks like Jeff Bridges is also signed on to star in the flick, which is comforting. He's such a nice guy, we're sure he won't let anything TOO terrifying happen in this movie…or will he?

This is an really bizarre inneresting combination.

Starz has greenlit a political drama, Boss, starring Kelsey Grammer, written by the Apocalypto co-writer Farhad Safinia, and executive produced by Gus Van Sant, who's also set to direct the pilot episode.

We wonder what kind of political drama you get when you combine people associated with Frasier, Mel Gibson's Mayan movie, and a film about Gay Rights activist Harvey Milk.

Should be inneresting indeed!

Grammer will star as as the Mayor of Chicago, who gets diagnosed with a degenerative medical condition, but doesn't tell anybody.

The show is being described as "a King Lear-inspired tale of power set in Chicago's political machine."

Boss was sought after by several cable networks, but Starz eventually won the bidding war after making an offer for an 8-episode series order.

We'll be very curious to check out this show. Quite the eclectic team behind it!

We don't know how any filmmaker would want to TOUCH this one, let alone one who has been nominated for Academy Awards!!

Steven Daldry, who is the inspired director behind Billy Elliot, The Hours, and most recently, The Reader, is the latest contender approached to take on the fourth Twilight movie, Breaking Dawn!

Other directors allegedly being considered include Gus Van Sant, Sofia Coppola, and Bill Condon!

We don't know what any of those people are thinking - we know EXACTLY what happens in that mess of a book, and there's virtually no way the adaptation is going to be anything other than a disaster unless they make DRASTIC plot changes!

And you know the Twi-Hards won't stand for that!!

No official offers to directors will be made until that poor screenwriter, Melissa Rosenberg, hands in an outline for the script. Girlfriend must be ripping her hair out while she attempts to pull something remotely watchable out of that garbage!
