In addition to opening up about how it felt for her to face her monster in court, she also once again called out USA Gymnastics and the U.S. Olympic Committee — and the fact they put so many girls in the care of such a man.

In fact, she says she just found out something incredibly damning:

Aly Raisman Reminds Everyone There's 'Still Work To Be Done' Following Larry Nassar's Sentencing

aly raisman says theres still work to be done

Larry Nassar's controversial case may be over, but there's still lots of "work to be done."

Aly Raisman made this point abundantly clear as she took to Twitter on Wednesday to comment on the former doctor's 40 to 175 years sentence for sexually abusing his (often young) patients. As you surely know, the Olympic gymnast was one of more than 150 victims who came forward to accuse Nassar of assault.

Raisman started her note by thanking her "fellow survivors" for their "courage, strength, and leadership." Not to mention, Aly also gave a very special shoutout to Judge Rosemarie Aquilina, who allowed the many victims to address Larry directly in court.

Larry Nassar Sentenced — 40 To 175 Years In Prison For Sexually Assaulting Hundreds Of Young Girls Under The Guise Of Medical Treatment

Larry Nassar

As we've been covering, around 156 young women came forward to give powerful victim impact statements during the sentencing hearing of former USA Gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar, who sexually abused athletes for years under the guise of medical treatment.

On Wednesday, Judge Rosemarie Aquilina — AKA our new hero — put Nassar on blast by reading a despicable letter he wrote the court pretending to be the victim in all this. What a monster.

Part of the letter read:

"The media convinced them that everything I did was wrong and bad. They feel I broke their trust. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned … … The stories are being fabricated to sensualize this then the AG would only accept my plea if I said what I did was not medical and was for my own pleasure. They forced me to say that or they were going to trial."

He has NO shame… and Aquilina was not having it.

Ultimately, the judge decided to sentence Nassar 40 to 175 years behind bars. This is in addition to the 60 years he's already been given for child porn charges.

Shawn Johnson is PISSED.

The 2008 Olympic gold medalist posted her thoughts on the USA Gymnastics scandal, in which dozens of young women were molested by team doctor Larry Nassar, on YouTube Monday.

And they are not even a little bit diplomatic.

On the subject of how the organization could fail to protect so many girls, Johnson says:

"Knowing that USA Gymnastics has failed their athletes so terribly, disappoints me and makes me so incredibly angry. I think the fact that any of this has ever happened shows that USA Gymnastics has failed as a governing body to protect the athletes that it supports and claims to care about. I don't know. This video is so hard for me to make. We've tried to shoot this countless times and I have ended up in tears, I've been angry, I've been confused. Just because there are so many words and so many experiences that I have gone through."

Damn. See Shawn's full message to the athletes AND the program (below):

Aly Raisman Calls Out U.S. Olympic Committee For 'ZERO Accountability' Over Its Role In Larry Nassar 'Mess'

Aly Raisman

Aly Raisman, y'all.

As you know, the courageous 23-year-old has been leading the charge fighting for justice for all the young women who were abused and molested by Larry Nassar. Now, she's going after the institutions that allowed and enabled the USA Gymnastics team doctor's abuse for decades.

On Monday, after three USAG execs resigned, the U.S. Olympics Committee's CEO Scott Blackman released a statement about the organization's decision to bring on new board leadership to "support the brave survivors."

Blackman wrote:

"Since October of last year, we have been engaged in discussions with leadership of USA Gymnastics about the primary recommendation of the Daniels Report—changing the culture of USA Gymnastics. Those discussions accelerated over the holidays and today you have seen three board resignations. New board leadership is necessary because the current leaders have been focused on establishing that they did nothing wrong. USA Gymnastics needs to focus on supporting the brave survivors. The Olympic family failed these athletes and we must continue to take every step necessary to ensure this never happens again."

Quite frankly… Raisman is calling bullshit.
