One day we're doing the countdown for the ball to drop on New Year's Eve, next thing we find out our favorite app with a countdown has dropped the ball!

The hacker group Gibson Security discovered a security problem with Snapchat where user names and phone numbers could be matched together.

On Christmas Eve, they told Snapchat about the issue, and let all the internet know how to do the matching!

Now, a website by the name of SnapChatDB.info (unaffiliated with Gibson Security) has allowed to you download a whole spreadsheet filled with millions of user names and their corresponding phone numbers!

But before you think your selfies might not be safesies, or that you're personal info was in jeopardy, apparently the site

Ashton Kutcher Almost Punk'd By Cyber Scammers!

ashton kutcher

To two cyber scammers, Ashton Kutcher's bank account may have seemed like the perfect jOb.

Apparently, the would-be thieves, Luis Flores and Kyah Green, allegedly called American Express as Ashton, providing info about the actor from his IMDB page through using his social security number they had received through a major hacker information dump earlier this year.

Damn! We bet the No Strings Attached actor would certainly like his life to have no stings attached! LOLz!!

The caller then wanted the bank to change Ashton's digits to Luis' number, and send a replacement card to Oak Park, Illinois!

Uh, sure, why not ask them to ship Mila Kunis to your address too while you're at it?

Then! They called again requesting

Donald Trump Is Suing A 'Hacker' Over Opinionated Websites & Domain Names!

donald trump suing for domain

J. Taikwok Yung is 33, lives with his mom in Brooklyn, and bought domain names that criticize Donald Trump and The Apprentice. Apparently you can't do that without being sued by Donald Trump, a man who we thought would have bigger fish to fry at all times with how busy he is!

NOPE. He really is suing J. for $400,000 in "damages." This is absurd!

J. fancies himself a hacker, and yet nothing he did was hacking, which actually is illegal. In fact, it just sounds like he beat Donald and his son Eric to the punch in registering domain names in 2007. This was right after Eric announced plans to build hotels and condos in southeast Asia: trumpindia.com, trumpbeijing.com, trumpmumbai.com and trumpabudhabi.com.

You'd think that the Trumps would be smart enough to register domains BEFORE they make announcements, right?? LOLz!

Anyway, the sites totes slam the billionaire and The Apprentice. Trump even offered J. $100 per domain name (how lavish!), which was promptly refused. Then, Trump took the case to the World Intellectual Property Organization, which ruled in his favor — J. then appealed, but the case was thrown out of court in Feb!

Here's what J. had to say:
