Man Arrested For Hacking Into Gene Simmons' Website!

Filed under: Music MinuteLegal MattersBusted!Tech Talk

Uh-oh! Watch out, hackers!

They're coming for you!

Kevin Poe, of Manchester, CT, was arrested yesterday on federal charges of conspiracy and unauthorized impairment of a protected computer, after he was linked to attacking a website that belongs to Gene Simmons with a "denial of service" in October against the Kiss bassist's systems, AKA using a program used by the Anonymous group to send countless electronic requests to GeneSimmons.com that deliberately is designed to overload the server!

Although no other arrests have been made and Poe was released on $10,000 bond, he's facing up to 15 years in prison!

We bet he's wondering now if such a pointless act was really worth that much time behind bars!

How Did Lindsay's Playboy Photos Get Leaked Onto The Net?

Ah-ha! A culprit!

Playboy magazine was forced to release its special Lindsay Lohan issue early in light of her nude photos being leaked onto the internet, and apparently, it's because the spread was hacked or stolen and uploaded to a file-sharing website in Russia, called Worldmags.net, and the individual responsible for finding them claims that he had to download over 200 files, each containing one page of the magazine, and had to manually reassemble it to build a digital copy of the publication!

According to the anonymous user, this is something he does when he "has the time," and he himself is unsure who posted the original files!

He explains:

Have You Noticed Some HARDCORE PORN On Facebook Lately?

Filed under: Icky Icky PooTech TalkFacebook

If so, you're not alone!

Apparently, a hacker, who may or may not be associated with the group Anonymous, have somehow managed to inundate Facebook with not only hardcore, extremely graphic pornographic images, but also pictures of wounded animals, extremely violent images of gore, and…Jesus porn?

According to actress Courtney Zito:

"Just saw one with a guy who had his skull bashed in and his brains on the street. Another one was the devil… Besides the countless naked girls. I'm about ready to deactivate…"

And although this sort of thing has happened on the social networking site, this is on a whole new level, and Facebook is apparently at a loss on how to fix it! In fact, many seem to think that this is the "Guy Fawkes Virus" that hackers associated with Anonymous teased last week!

Ch-check out a news story regarding the matter (above)

Not really sure how users will be able to avoid this, but do your best, guys!

The Saga Continues! Summit Release New Statement After Breaking Dawn Hacker Holds Press Conference!

Wow. Is this still going on? Honestly, who cares at this point? Yes, she shouldn't have hacked into anyone's emails, but to be frank, it created some buzz for the franchise again when it was starting to falter under the reign of Harry Potter fever. Think about that, Summit!

Last week, Daiana Santia of Argentina held a press conference, inviting the media to hear her side of the story and defend herself over "stealing" unreleased footage and pictures from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn. Her sole argument was that the studio should not have released her personal information in this matter, making it impossible for this matter to be handled privately.

After letting her have her say, Summit retaliated with a lenghtly and detailed press release, listing all the reasons why Daiana was wrong. You can read the release after the jump in full, but we thought we'd just touch upon their main point, which was this:

FoxNews Twitter Handle Hacked, Falsely Reports President Obama Assassinated

Filed under: Icky Icky PooPolitikBarack ObamaTwitter

Ugh! So awful!

People have a really twisted sense of humor!

FoxNews has come under fire today after one of its Twitter pages, FoxNewspolitics, released a message this morning to its 36,000+ followers that President Barack Obama had been shot twice and killed at an Iowa restaurant.

Upon further investigation, it's been revealed that the assassination report was clearly false, and was the work of a hacker.

Thankfull, the President and his family are safe and sound, enjoying their fourth of July at the White House.

Vice president and general manager of Fox News Digital Jeff Misenti says in a statement:

“We will be requesting a detailed investigation from Twitter about how this occurred, and measures to prevent future unauthorized access into FoxNews.com accounts.”

We certainly hope so.

Such a disgusting and tasteless joke.

Here's hoping that whomever is responsible is caught and punished accordingly!
