It looks like the soup's actually not on.
After more than a decade of hosting The Soup, it looks like Joel McHale will be putting down his ladle.
E! announced on Wednesday that the late night clip show would be ending its run on December 18 after an impressive 12 years on the air.

The 43-year-old comedian had been with the series since 2004 when it was re-branded from Talk Soup, a similar show that featured Greg Kinnear, John Henson, Hal Sparks, and Aisha Tyler as hosts at different times.
Interestingly enough, this isn't Joel's only canned show of 2015 — despite fans' best efforts, cult classic Community unfortunately got cancelled back in June after a season streamed exclusively on Yahoo!
But is this really the last we've seen of The Soup… 12 seasons and movie, anyone??

Just another day in the life of rocker Vince Neil.
Cops were called when the Motley Crüe frontman allegedly got into an altercation with his ex-girlfriend and her friends at a Las Vegas hotel.
A battery report was filed when Vince reportedly disrupted a Hal Sparks concert at the Las Vegas Hilton where his ex and her friends were watching a show.
The woman says that Vince got physical with her and her friend after he barged in and began screaming obscenities. The report was filed, but Vince was not arrested.
Tisk tisk. We see he's still up to his old bad boy ways. You better calm down, Vince, before you end up in jail again.

Last night, Queer As Folk actor Hal Sparks saved a life!
Sources on the scene say that Hal had just touched down into LAX when an elderly man of 60 or 70 collapsed in the Delta terminal. Hal quickly went to the man's aid and started performing CPR. He gave mouth-to-mouth, while another woman performed chest compressions.
Once the medics arrived, they took over, but we're sure Hal was a great deal of help to the man.
After the incident, Hal tweeted to his followers what happened:
"Just did CPR for the 3rd time in my life. What a night … When they took him away he was breathing on his own … Hope he makes it.
Everybody NEEDS to take a CPR class. Out of 200 people only 2 of us new CPR … okay enough preaching … I need a nap."
You take that nap, boy! You helped save a life! You deserve it!
Seriously, a very commendable thing Hal did! We're proud of you, bb!
