Bridget Marquardt Releases Line Of Halloween Costumes

Anyone who knows Bridget Marquardt, or watched The Girls Next Door, knows the blonde bombshell is a huge fan of Halloween. She's such a fan that she's released a collection of Halloween costumes.

The 38-year-old (who by the way is looking much younger than usual) has teamed up with Roma Costume and created a collection of 17 sexy outfits.

And to promote the items she hired her hottie beau Nicholas Carpenter to direct a short film featuring her modeling the costumes.

The collection features pieces like a sexy mermaid, sexy devil, sexy school girl, and even a Hugh Hefner inspired sexy female version of his iconic robe.

Halloweenies Go GaGa For Her Meat Dress

This year is definitely going to be a Lady GaGa Halloween.

On top of the licensed outfits, Googlers have been on the hunt for a ready-made costume of her infamous meat dress or at least a way to make it!

An East Village butcher says if you're wanting to make your own authentic meat frock "You would have to be very skillful. It looked like 15 to 20 pounds of flank steak. It would take 10 hours."

But do it yourselfers be warned, steak doesn't come cheap. By the time your costume's complete you'd be out $1,000.

Yikes!

If that's not in your budget maybe a nice meat-cessory or shirt will be just as good.

It should come as no surprise that Tim Gunn doesn't have the highest opinion when it come to Lady GaGa and her outrageous style.

The outspoken Project Runway mentor said "Who would want to emulate that? It's not fashion. Those are costumes."

Actually, a lot of people do.

They may be costumes, but least 1 million people are expected to buy those GaGa Halloween outfits that were inspired by her style.

But to each their own.

What would Martha Stewart say!?

Target has released a new Halloween commercial that basically says your mom's handmade costume sucks.

OK, maybe it's not that harsh, but it's pretty close.

Watch the commercial (above) and see for yourself.

Victoria's Secret has finally unveiled their Halloween costumes and they're exactly what you'd expect: expensive and unoriginal.

The Sexy Little Fantasies range in price from $68 to almost $200!!!

Who would pay that much for a costume when you could just go to a Halloween or party store and get the same thing for a lot less!?

Simon Doonan Gets Spooky For Target

simon_costumecouture_1e.jpg simon_costumecouture_3e.jpg simon_costumecouture_2e.jpg

Barneys creative director Simon Doonan has got himself a new gig designing Halloween costumes for Target.

The eccentric designer, who was born on Hallows Eve, said "The holiday is huge and it’s growing. That’s why [Target] yodeled in yours truly."

The collection, which Doonan dubbed Costume Couture, includes costumes with words like "Trick or Trend" and "Chic or Treat" printed on them.

So what was his inspiration?

Reality TV, which would explain his one shoulder dress inspired by the White House crasher Michaele Salahi.

Simon explains:

"People on reality TV get to be exhibitionists. I thought of The Situation and those boys from Jersey Shore when I did the T-shirt for the Pumpkin Punk Rocker costume."

Pumpkins are orange, so we see the connection. Ha!

Doonan's Costume Couture becomes available on Target's website starting August 27th and in stores September 12th.

P.S. Wonder what he thinks about Target not correcting their $150,000 donation to an anti-gay candidate???
