Partygoers at DJ ProStyle's birthday blowout got a little more than they bargained for at the Hammerstein Ballroom when Chris Brown decided to crash the party and hit the stage for a surprise show!

The singer said he had no intentions of performing going into the night, but once he got a good look at the crowd he just couldn't help himself:

I love all my fans who came out tonight. Wasn't supposed to perform but I couldn't resist. I l0ve y'all!

But the surprises didn't stop there, as fans got an earful AND an eyeful as Breezy eventually found himself shirtless during his impromptu, crotch-grabbin' performance!

We're guessing DJ ProStyle (and the ladies) didn't mind! LOLz!

To celebrate his 32nd year of life on this planet, Dancing With The Stars pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy through a ballroom bash in New York City last Friday!

His dancing friends like Tony Dovolani and DWTS competitor Kirstie Alley (who looks fantastic) attended, while even The View's Sherri Shepherd came out to have a ball.

Other notables walking the red carpet at the Hammerstein Ballroom included Jersey Shore's Angelina (yeah, she's still around), Maksim's brother Val Chmerkovskiy, and ESPN reporter Erin Andrews.

Happy birthday, Maksim! Hope it was a good one!

What better way to ring in the new year than by filing a lawsuit over something that happened over three years ago!

During a taping of Diddy's Making the Band back in 2008, Kevin Faraday claims he was in the crowd at NYC's Hammerstein Ballroom…and he was hit in the abdomen by a guy with a mic.

As a result of his injury, Kevin is suing both Diddy and MTV AND ABSOLUTELY EVERYONE who was involved with the event that day, including, but not limited to:

Better be one hell of an afterparty for that money!

On April 22, the Diddy Dirty Money tour heads to the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC, and Manhattan clubs want to host that afterparty!

Diddy's not making it easy on them, though, and he wants as much as $45,000 to host his own afterparty AND he wants $25,000 of that fee payable to him as soon as he signs a deal with whatever venue can afford him.

Here's what a major nightlife promoter in NYC had to say about Diddy's demands:

"It's unlikely that [a club] in New York would pay that amount. For that amount of money, Vegas makes sense. That's normal for Vegas. New York doesn't work like that."

Apparently, there WAS a place that was willing to pay up in West Orange, NJ, but Diddy bailed on them when he heard the venue wasn't in NYC.

Hey, what's wrong with Jersey, Diddy? We know some shore-loving folks who would take offense to that!

Oh, and aside from the $$$, here are some of Diddy's other afterparty demands:

-One waitress assigned ONLY to him and his "posse"

-12 bottles of Ciroc vodka, 10 bottle of Moët rose Champagne, 2 bottles of Patron Platinum, 5 bottles of Hypnotiq

-Ice that "must be clean"

You're high maintenance, Diddy! Good luck finding an NYC venue that's gonna go for all of that!

Do U think any NYC clubs will meet Diddy's demands?

UPDATE: We've just been informed, via a statement from Diddy, that his official after party will in fact be at the 4Sixty6 in West Orange, NJ and NOT at any club in NYC. Furthermore, we hear Diddy is planning to arrive in style, landing by helicopter once the show is over.

Wow! This is pretty huge!

Viacom's MTV Networks have announced that they intend to start a new comedy awards franchise, appropriately titled The Comedy Awards, to be held at the Hammerstein Ballroom March 26th, and to be broadcast April 10th simultaneously on Comedy Central, Spike TV, TV Land, VH1, and Nick at Nite!

Wowza!

According to executive producer Don Mischer, the ceremony will recognize "the year's best comedy films, television series and digital content." The nominees - which will also include writers, directors, and actors in the field - have been selected by The Comedy Awards' board of directors, whose founding members include funnymen (and women) such as Billy Crystal, Will Ferrell, Whoopi Goldberg, Seth McFarlane, and Ray Romano!

Nice! We're totally looking forward to this!

A kind of ceremony celebrating this genre is long overdue!

Hopefully it will do well enough to continue on!
