Sorry, Jeremy Renner!

The box office reign of Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters was short-lived!

But hey! What can you expect when facing up against a much-more-favorably-reviewed Twilight with zombies?!

That's right, Warm Bodies, which stars Jennifer Lawrence's ex Nicholas Hoult and a blonde, emotive Kristen Stewart Teresa Palmer as zombie apocalypse-crossed, brain-eating lovers, opened this weekend with an impressive $20 million - which is $10 million more than ANY other movie made between Friday and Sunday!

Sadly, this included Sylvester Stallone's latest non-Expendables effort, Bullet to the Head, which only raked in about $6.5 million and found itself barely afloat among Best Picture nominees and Jessica Chastain's Mama!

But want to know what's NOT so sad?

Movie 43 lost two-thirds of the already-abysmal ticket sales it managed to snag last weekend, and has fallen out of the top ten…and hopefully, out of our memories FOREVER!

Can we hear a resounding GOOD RIDDANCE from everyone, please?!

LOLz!

As far as the weekend box office numbers are concerned, we guess it was a case of the lesser of two evils!

WELL…maybe not evil! But DEFINITELY the lesser of two SUPREMELY shiteous movies!

While Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters was reportedly described as the "the longest 90 minutes you [will] ever spend in a theater," it still managed to make the most money across the United States by garnering the majority of ticket sales from Friday-Sunday and ultimately made around $19 million!

That's right, more folks sat through THAT then Silver Linings Playbook, Zero Dark Thirty AND Django Unchained!

Thankfully, however, the same CANNOT be said for Movie 43 and the hole in hell out of which it crawled, because even with its plethora of A-list talent that we won't further embarrass by naming here, a majority of movie-goers were smart enough to stay FAR away…resulting in a cumulative $5 million and movie reviews that refer to it as LITERALLY the worst movie ever!

OUCH!

Watch out Hermione, these witch hunters don't f**k around!

The world wide web was treated to a torrent of expletives and violence this morning with the release of a new red band trailer for Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters!

The Avengers' Jeremy Renner and Quantum of Solace's Gemma Arterton star as grown-up versions of those fairytale heroes who pushed an old lady into her own oven and never looked back!

Ch-ch-check out the action-packed, no-holds-barred preview (above), but, be warned, this ain't your grandpappy's version of the old fable!

EEK!

We doubt anyone in this flick lives happily ever after!

But guess there's only one way to find out, huh?

From the title we're guessing it won't be a strict adaptation, but Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters looks hawt and as sexy as a chopped salad!

Jeremy Renner & Gemma Arterton will star in this next potential blockbuster and from the looks of the trailer - we think it has got a great shot!!!

The actor has shown off his skills in Mission: Impossible and Bourne franchises, appeared as Hawkeye in The Avengers, and now, will apparently slay witches alongside Gemma Arterton in Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters!

Ch-ch-check out the pair in the Tommy Wirkola-directed re-interpertration of the classic Grimm fable, which will showcase just what exactly happened to the kids who escaped near-death after walking into the WRONG gingerbread house (above)!

Well…at least it looks LESS ridiculous than Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter!

Even if by just a LITTLE! LOLz!

But hey! So long as Jeremy Renner is looking HAWT and kicking ass, we will happily watch!

Last we heard about Hansel & Gretel, the fairy tale characters were being reimagined for Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, with X-Men's Famke Janssen playing "the leader of the witches."

Now, ANOTHER Hansel & Gretel adaptation, Gretl, is in the works, but this time at SyFy with Shannen Doherty set to star in the title role.

Here's the synopsis for the project:

"As an adult, a witch hunter (Hansel) returns to the village where he lived as a child to find and kill the witch who killed his sister, Gretl (Doherty), only to find that Gretl is not dead and danger lurks around every corner."

This instant classic doesn't air until November, but in the meanwhile, we've got Piranhaconda to tide us over! LOLs!

Will U tune in to see Shannen Doherty in Gretl? Will U also tune in for Piranhaconda???
