Hmmm.

Kid Rock appeared in court yesterday for the fight that broke out in a suburban Atlanta Waffle House back in 2007 and his lawyer claimed that Kid and his entourage were only trying to defend themselves from another customer.

He and five other people are being sued over the fight.

A man named Harlen Akins claims that they beat him up for no reason and is seeking unspecified punitive damages as well as $6,000 in medical fees.

Kid says Akins kept trying to provoke an argument and while video surveillance shows the fight, there is no sound to hear what was being said.

The trial is expected to end today or tomorrow.

5 on 1 sounds a bit suspicious to us, though!
