SeaWorld Orlando just got a BIG surprise!
A Red-legged seriema chick hatched on April 30, and he's going to be a bigg'in! Red-legged seriemas are the largest terrestial birds in the world.
Take that, ostriches! LOLz!
Although they can fly for short distances, seriemas prefer to use their long legs and run after their prey.
The baybay chick is currently being hand-reared until he's strong to be on his own!

Welcome to the world, baybay turtles!
Syracuse's Rosamund Gifford Zoo said hello to a whopping 27 yellow-spotted Amazon River turtles between April 5 and April 12.
And females can lay up to 50 eggs at a time…TWICE a year!
This is great news for a species that was once endangered. Zoo director Ted Fox thinks this is a monumental achievement:
