We always knew YouTube could create careers!!
28-year-old Norwegian Havard Rugland, better known as 'Kickalicious' was just another normal man who enjoyed playing amateur soccer.
But in 2011, he found interest in football, which led him to create a YouTube account to show off his craaazzzy kicking skills, and once the NFL noticed how AH-MAYZING Rugland could kick, they went after him.
However, since he can only be signed to one team, the Detroit Lions coach, Jim Schwartz tapped him, and now, he's a LION!!
Schwartz revealed how he got Havard on his team, he said:
"Kickalicious? Same way you guys did. He had worked out for the Jets, I believe, a couple weeks before us. And when you work out a player, it goes across the [NFL] wire also. But when those guys have agents and things like that, the reason they went through that was to try to get opportunities, so he has agents [that are] working, and we had opportunity."
We're glad to hear that Detroit was able to get such a great kicker. It's just crazy that they found him on the world wide web, which doesn't even matter 'cuz we know Havard is gonna do a great job!!
