Suitulaga Hunkin found out he needed a new heart when he was just 26 years old.

Originally he thought it was heat stroke, but it turned out to be cardiomyopathy — and his heart was too weak to return to an un-stretched state.

Even though he was about 300 pounds, he thought he was healthy. He lifted weights regularly and everything, so he hadn't been worried about his health even though he knew he was technically overweight. He didn't understand just how serious the situation was

So, so many jokes.

But we'll keep them to ourselves considering the man's condition.

Yes, former Vice President Dick Cheney underwent heart surgery, getting a new heart after being on the heart transplant list for 20 months.

He is said to be doing well.

The Cheney family gave an update on his condition by releasing the following statement:

"Although the former Vice President and his family do not know the identity of the donor, they will be forever grateful for this lifesaving gift.

Former Vice President Cheney is thankful to the teams of doctors and other medical professionals at Inova Fairfax and George Washington University Hospital for their continued outstanding care."

The 70-year-old has suffered five heart attacks since 1978.

Good to hear he's recuperating well, though.

Get some rest before you go out and enjoy that new heart of yours!

Rare Heart Transplant Leaves Man With Two Hearts!

This guy has heart!

Actually, he has two.

A man now has two hearts after undergoing a rare surgery called a heterotopic heart transplant in which doctors attached a second heart to the right side of his chest.

Dr. Michael Madani, associate professor of surgery and co-director of the UC San Diego Sulpizio Cardiovascular Center, explained the procedure in a statement:

"Even though Mr. Smith was facing death, he could not have a standard heart transplant. Removing the old heart and replacing it with a new heart would have caused the new heart to fail because resistance to flow in his lungs-called pulmonary hypertension-was so high. But together, the two hearts share the work and get the job done."

Check out the crazzzy footage above to see what two beating hearts look like!

Guess it's true what they say. Two hearts are better than one! Ha!
