Running back LaDainian Tomlinson from the New York Jets has joined forces with Banfield Pet Hospital and the American Heartworm Society to film a PSA educating pet owners about the dangers of heartworm disease.

Koko, a 39-year-old gorilla famous for her masterful use of sign language and communication skills, loves Betty White!

This comes as no surprise to us because, let's face it, who doesn't?

Whether it's The Golden Girls or one of Betty's movies, Koko loves to watch the actress on DVD!

Lorraine Slater, senior development director at the Gorilla Foundation which cares for Koko, says:

"She has a fairly extensive library of DVDs, and she knows which are which. If she particularly likes something, she'll say it's good. A lot of times, if it's getting to a sad part, she'll just turn it off. Pretty Woman has always been one of her favorite films and she tends to watch things over and over again."

Although, mutual admirers for years since Betty was on the Board of Directors for the foundation, they were first introduced in 2004 and immediately hit it off!

In fact, Koko liked her so much that she took Betty by the hand and gave the actress a personal tour of her home, which according to her caretaker Dr. Penny Patterson:

"It's a privilege granted to very few people. She saves that for the very special."

"She just talked to Koko as though she were a friend, and they got along famously," Lorraine Slater recalled.

That is too adorable! This is just one more reason to love Betty White and gorillas!
