As if the horrific earthquakes in Nepal and surrounding countries that killed just under 9,000 people weren't terrible enough, India is now suffering a deadly natural disaster of its own.
Over the past six weeks, over 800 people have died throughout India due to a severe heat wave that shows no signs of stopping anytime soon.
Temperatures have reached 117º F in parts of the country, and hospitals are currently doing their best to treat heatstroke after 551 people died in the state of Andhra Pradesh this past week alone.

As if a heat wave wasn't enough, Texas has another natural disaster to deal with.
Hurricane Don is moving straight across the Gulf of Mexico and will land in the state near Corpus Christi on Friday.
Last week's heat wave brought temperatures in the high 90s and 100s with extreme humidity. It was responsible for 64 deaths in 15 states, including a 10-year-old girl who died from heatstroke. Thousands of livestock have also died from the heat.
The last thing Texas needs right now is a hurricane, which will most likely cause immeasurable damage.
If you live in the area or surrounding areas, please be safe. It's just way too dangerous out there.

It's really hot out there, guys.
Your heart rate goes up and your body loses a lot water during these hot summer months, so finding ways to stay cool is absolutely necessary.
This is when you need to know when the heat is getting dangerous: When you've gotten to the point of NOT sweating, that's a red alert signaling your body that your blood pressure is way too high. When this happens, instead of turning red, you actually become pale.
Make sure to stay indoors as much as possible. Don't strain yourself during exercising or any other sort of activity. And always, always, drink plenty of water.
