Don't get any ideas, though, frog-lickers!

These guys are still POISONOUS!

Queen University's Herpetologist Valerie Clark recently discovered that the skin of Madagascar poison frogs actually contain the sugar sucrose, which marks them as the first known case of the chemical being produced by an animal, and not a plant!

It seems like it may be caused by their diet, as the frogs eat ants, who in turn, acquire the sugar from the sap of the plants in which they live!
