Donald Trump Falsely Claims He Won The Electoral College In A 'Landslide' As He Continues To Rant About The Recount Efforts!
As you surely know, over the weekend, Hillary Clinton's campaign lawyer revealed that the former Secretary of State would be participating in the Wisconsin recount after Green Party presidential nominee Jill Stein headed the efforts earlier in the week.
In an open letter about the recount, Clinton's lawyer Marc Elias wrote:
"It should go without saying that we take these concerns extremely seriously. We certainly understand the heartbreak felt by so many who worked so hard to elect Hillary Clinton, and it is a fundamental principle of our democracy to ensure that every vote is properly counted."
While Elias noted that the Clinton campaign had NOT been privy to any information about vote tampering, they felt they should stand by Miz Stein and her efforts — especially in other states like Michigan and Pennsylvania. Obviously, this sent the President-elect into a tizzy as he (first) sent out a statement on the matter and (then) took to his beloved Twitter to rant about the issue.
One highlight from the tirade was when he falsely claimed that he had won the Electoral College in a "landslide" and accused Hill's HUGE popular vote win of being made up of illegal votes (below)!
