Does Alaska Have Its Own Loch Ness Monster?!

Oh, crap! Why did that mother effing cryptid have to end up there??!

That thing better start swimming, and FAST!

Doesn't he know that Sarah Palin likes to shoot things out of helicopters for fun?! He could be next!

The legend of the Loch Ness monster has been around for centuries, but apparently, a video has surfaced from 2009 that depicts a very-similar looking creature making its way across an Alaskan body of water, which is set to air tonight on the show Hillstranded, a new Discovery Channel special!

Check out a photo from the footage (above)!

According to various accounts, this thing has a "long neck, a horse-like head, large eyes, and back bumps that stick out of the water," and many suspect that it's a Cadborosaurus, which apparently originated from Cadboro Bay, British Columbia.

Paul LeBlond, the former head of the Department of Earth and Ocean Sciences at the University of British Columbia, says:

"I am quite impressed with the video. Although it was shot under rainy circumstances in a bouncy ship, it's very genuine. It must be a mammal or a reptile, since it oscillates up and down in a vertical plain, which eliminates sideways-oscillating fish. We cannot go out in the ocean poking everywhere, but we are always on the lookout for new accounts."

And according to the Hillstranded star, Andy Hillstrand:

"We saw a big, long white thing moving in the water. We chased it for about 20 minutes. Spray came out of its head. It was definitely not a shark. A giant eel may be possible, but eels don't have humps that all move in unison. I've never seen anything like it before. We live in Alaska, so we might investigate 'Cadborosaurus' again in future. We are always up for an adventure."

Fascinating, indeed!

And although we're sure it's either a fake or something else entirely, we want to see this full video!

No harm in keeping an open mind about those scaly little friends we may not yet know are out there!

And again, if there IS some bizarre Loch Ness creature swimming around up there, we hope it stays FAR away from Sarah's house! Ha!

Deadliest Catch Stars Quit!

You know there's something wrong when THREE people quit on you at once!

Captains Jonathan & Andy Hillstrand, and Captain Sig Hansen have left Deadliest Catch.

The Hillstrands were sued by Discovery for $3 million earlier this month due to their alleged lack of participation in a planned spin-off special for Deadliest Catch, called Hillstranded.

Captain Hansen quit as a show of solidarity for his fellow captains. Here's what he had to say about it:

"I want people to know the captains stand together, and me and my brothers support them 100 percent."

Here is a statement from the Hillstrands and Hansen regarding their departure:

"We have been through a lot over the past year and unfortunately given the current situation with Discovery we are unable to continue participating in 'Deadliest Catch. It has been a fantastic ride, and we wish the best to all of the amazing and supportive 'Catch' fans we have met over the years."

Here's what the Hillstrands' lawyer, Jeff Cohen, had to say about the Captains' exit:

"We have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of support for the captains. I think MaryAnne from Minnesota put it best when she wrote to us: 'The show was meant to shed light on a profession these men so valiantly and tirelessly do season after season, not bankrupt them and take away their livelihood.'"

Not the smartest move, Discovery! Do U think MTV would file a lawsuit against the cast of Jersey Shore? Would CBS go head-to-head with the Big Bang stars?

Not smart AT all!
