However, only a few will be joining OWN's LA staff when the historic Chicago studio closes its doors in December.

While Oprah broke the news to her Chicago employees herself on Tuesday, she also acknowledged in recent chat with The Hollywood Reporter that she'd be sad to say goodbye, but it was time to consolidate staff.

It will truly be an end of an era.

Historic fraternity Gamma Phi Gamma will no longer be recognized by Wilmington College after one of its pledges lost his testicle in a hazing incident last Halloween.

Filed under: Film FlickersLegal MattersR.I.P.Sad Sad

Sick, sick, sick! We're just so sick over this whole thing!

As you probably know by now, 71 people were horrifically victimized early Friday morning at the Aurora, CO Century 16 movie theater, when James Holmes opened fire on movie goers who had stayed up late to catch the midnight screening of Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises.

It has now come to light that with 12 fatalities and 59 injuries, this disgusting, senseless incident has gone down in history as the most extensive mass-shooting EVER in the United States.

While many details have emerged as to the who, what, when and where, the how and why are still very much unknown, especially since James supposedly entered the movie theatre through exit doors, which are generally locked from the outside.

Well, according to new reports, the gunman actually BOUGHT a ticket to the premiere and sat in the theater for a good 15 minutes before leaving through the designated exits to the back parking lot.

Upon exiting, James allegedly

Anton Yelchin Helps The Smurfs Make History!

Just so you know, this totally makes sense. He was the voice of Clumsy Smurf in the movie. LOL!

Yesterday, a very special ceremony was held at Grauman's Chinese Theater as The Smurfs were asked to leave their hand and footprints in the iconic courtyard.

Accompanied by Anton Yelchin, Papa Smurf, Clumsy Smurf and Smurfette all received the honor of leaving their mark amongst other Hollywood icons.

Wonder if this is going to upset as many people as the Twilight kids did a few months ago? Anyone feel the need to riot about this latest addition?

Check out the gallery (below) for more pics from the scene.

Wow! We think it would actually be pretty cool to live here!

The French Normandy-style home built by none other than Walt Disney in 1932 has reportedly been put on the market for the very reasonable price of $3.65!

Located on an acre in the Los Feliz hills, the house features four bedrooms, five bathrooms, painted and vaulted beamed ceilings, original stained glass, a billiards room, sleeping porch, swimming pool, and a screening room!

Ch-ch-check out some photos of the property (above and below)!

Gorgeous! We so thrilled such a historic home has been preserved so beautifully!

We wonder who will end up purchasing it?!

Tyler Farrar

That's how America does it! WOOOOO! Ha!

American cyclist, Tyler Farrar, is the first American to win a Tour de France stage on the most American day of the year — the 4th of July!

It was a great day for the one of the world's best sprinters, as the victory on the third leg of the Tour de France was his first win at the race ever. After his historic win, he said:

”I certainly would have taken it on any day, but as an American, winning on the Fourth of July, it's the icing on the cake. … Lucky me.”

Congrats on the win, Tyler!

The cyclist still has A LOT of work cut out for him though. Yesterday's portion was just the 3rd out of 21 stages in the grueling 3430.5-kilometer, 22-day race across France. Good luck!

How Several NY Newspapers Covered Historic Passing Of Gay Marriage Law

This is really interesting.

Several New York newspapers covered the state's historic passing of gay marriage this weekend, but not all of them considered the monumental event important enough to become their biggest story.

The Daily News above features a huge cover spread with the word "HISTORY!" in big, bold, and bright letters. However, if you look at the rest of the papers, in the gallery below, you'll see how vastly different this story was covered.

We're looking at you especially, New York Post.
