There's more to tell about Sharon Osbourne's adorable Yorkie puppy!
Even though we were were all happy to hear about Ozzy Osbourne donating a whopping $10,000 to Autism for the pup, and even though we were even more elated when we watched Holly Robinson-Peete surprise Sharon with the baby on The Talk, PETA was not.
Shortly after the story broke, PETA took to their twitter with disdain for selling animals in auctions:
Whenever we see celebs w/ purebred pups, we write 2 make sure they r aware of homeless animal crisis. Adoption is always the way to go!
But, of course, Mrs. Osbourne isn't one to sit back and take things silently.
Instead, she rebutted with her own tweets:
I don’t agree with PETA’s criticism of @Hollyrpeete for auctioning a rescue dog at her HollyRod charity event. Not only did @Hollyrpeete help place a rescue dog, she also raised money for Autism which is doubly-good.
While we totally agree on always considering adoption first, this is a special example.
Sharon wasn't looking for a dog. She just happened to think this one was precious, so her loving husband bought it for her on a 10K whim — one that benefits another very important cause.

Oh no. What's happening here? Breaking at the seams already?! What's going on???
On the heels of Sharon Osbourne announcing that she'll be taking a break from The Talk this fall, only Julie Chen and Sara Gilbert attended the network's TCA Panel this weekend. Then, Holly Robinson Peete made a startling confession on a red carpet yesterday - her option hasn't been picked up either! Holy!
Check out the video (above) to hear Holly talk about her uncertain future with The Talk and if she even wants to go back to the gig.
Guys couldn't even keep it together for one whole season?! Damn!
Niecy Nash is a married woman, folks!
The TV host and former Dancing with the Stars contestant married electrical engineer Jay Tucker on Saturday, in an outdoor afternoon ceremony at the Church Estate Vineyard in Malibu.
Celebs like Sherri Shepherd, Wendy Raquel Robinson, and Holly Robinson-Peete were in attendance.
This is Niecy's second marriage, in which she says:
"I have to say, this second time around, it feels custom. Even after I got my divorce, the ink wasn't even dry on the paper, and I said, 'Ooh, the next time I become a wife, I got this thing down pat!' I always believed that there was someone built for me."
Aw, that's so wonderful! We're so happy you found your soulmate, Niecy!
Congratulations to the happy couple!
Next week, look forward to seeing Julie Chen and Holly Robinson Peete get their Plinko on as the ladies are set to make an appearance on The Price Is Right.
Apparently, this is part of CBS' new "Host Exchange" program as reportedly, Drew Carey will "stop by" The Talk later that same day!
Say what?! Does that mean Julie and Holly get to hold the pencil thin microphone and ask for bids on dining room tables and hand out lifetime supplies of Cheese Whiz??? OMG, how fun!
But what's Drew gonna do??? This is all so baffling!
We kid, we kid. It's just a
frantic poor attempt at some cross promotion.

That was the big question this morning
during Hot Topics on The Talk!
Check out the video (above) to hear Holly Robinson Peete's sincere complaint about there being no black actresses on SNL.
Okay, mostly she's concerned that she's always is on "vacation" whenever the show does a Talk sketch because they have no one to play her, but the point remains valid.
Hey, if Fred Armison can play Joy Behar, where's Kenan Thompson with his most impressive finger wave?!
Looks like The View may have some competition!
CBS' daytime talk show, The Talk, received its biggest audience ever for the week ending January 7.
The show, which is co-hosted by Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Leah Remini, Holly Robinson Peete, and Marisa Jaret Winokur, delivered 2.3 million viewers and beat One Life to Live in the 18-49 demo.
Pretty strong, ladies! We bet by next year this show will be a bona fide hit!
