This case is gory and just plain icky.
We previously mentioned a severed head and hands were found in the Hollywood Hills near the Hollywood sign.
Well authorities have finally identified the body parts, but haven't released a name.
They still aren't sure what happened.
A police spokesperson said:
"Right now, we're keeping an open mind … on why this poor person was dismembered and deposited up there."
Hopefully this will lead to the capture of the person responsible for this disgusting act.

The girl gets around, doesn't she?
Marion Cotillard's newest ad for Christian Dior's Lady Dior handbags took her to Tinseltown.
The French actress was photographed by Steven Klein at a fancy house in El Lay complete with a view of the iconic Hollywood sign.
Such a gorgeous shot!

This is truly sad.
The grandson of the man who starred in classic films such as Gone With the Wind and It Happened One Night has been arrested.
Why did Clark Gable III get arrested, you might ask? He was allegedly "pointing a laser at an LAPD helicopter" while driving around Hollywood last night. Ugh.
Apparently, he was just trying to point at the Hollywood sign, BUT he screwed up and has been booked on a felony charge.
Did you really need to use a laser pointer in the car, Clark? You didn't have someone in the car with you to keep you entertained with delightful conversation or word games or something???
Seriously, Clark! Your granddad will forever be remembered for starring in some of the most important films ever made. Do you really want to be remembered for THIS?!?!?!?
Think about it.

Everyone can rest a little easier in the City of Angels thanks to Hugh Hefner and many other donors who contributed to keep the property that houses the iconic Hollywood sign out of developers' hands.
Hefner donated $900,000 and brought the final tally to $12.5 million, enough to protect the 138 acres of land.
"My childhood dreams and fantasies came from the movies, and the images created in Hollywood had a major influence on my life and Playboy," Hef says. California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger adds:
"It's a symbol of dreams and opportunity. The Hollywood sign will welcome dreamers, artists and Austrian bodybuilders for generations to come. I did what the Terminator was supposed to do, and that was to jump into action."
Good job, everyone!
