The Bachelor Juan Pablo addresses his homophobic comments

It certainly seems like he’s trying to make amends!

The Bachelor’s Juan Pablo Galavis made some incredibly horrible and hurtful comments about gay and bisexual people on Friday night, and now he’s clarifying them.

ABC and the show’s execs were quick to separate themselves from what JP said, and issued their own statement, which read:

"Juan Pablo’s comments were careless, thoughtless and insensitive, and in no way reflect the views of the network, the show’s producers or studio."

Then, the non-native English speaker took to his Facebook to sort out the situation in a heartfelt letter, writing

But after A&E decided to suspend their star, he does have at least one new maverick on his side- Sarah Palin.

The former Vice Presidential candidate, who incidentally will have another reality show on air soon, has jumped to Phil's defense.

We wonder if they know how incredibly silly they look right now.

Yesterday, we told you about the chairman of Barilla pasta, Guido Barilla, making some homophobic comments on a radio station. He issued an apology for hurting people’s feelings, but not for what he said.

So, thankfully, the internet spread the word to boycott the insensitive pasta brand, and, now, Barilla is tweeting an apology with their tails, er, pasta shells, between their legs.

The chairman of Equality Italia, Aurelio Mancuso, made a statement, saying:
