The Chateau Marmont may have gotten shafted by Lindsay Lohan, but that doesn't mean they enjoy all of this negative press surrounding the actress any more than Lohan probably does!
The hotel was stunned to learn Lohan's bill and ban has been such a big ticket news item, and has issued a statement that exemplifies their dismay at the unwanted publicity both parties are now dealing with.
Here's what the hotel management's statement said:

A father and mother in an inspired attempt to teach their toddler son a lesson put the small child in a washing machine.
When the machine auto locked and the wash cycle began, these terrible parents realized their kid was trapped inside and did what every parent has done at least once - they panicked.

A mom was horrified when she discovered that her 7-year-old daughter's Dora the Explorer doll was saying the phrase, "Let's play 'sex.'"
Toymaker Fisher Price says that Dora is actually saying "Let's play 'fetch' with perrito," but the mom isn't convinced. ESPECIALLY, after her daughter now goes around saying the word "sex."
Yikes.
