According to a new billboard near the Indianapolis Motor Speedway they do!
In response to concession stands selling more than 1.1 million hot dogs during the Indianapolis 500 races in 2010, the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine put up the advertisement to warn consumers of the danger lurking inside each bun.
The billboard features hot dogs protruding from a cigarette package to send the message that a "Hot dog can wreck your health."
According to the American Institute for Cancer Research, one 50-gram serving of processed meat daily increases the risk of colorectal cancer by about 21%.
If that's true, hot dog lovers may be putting their colon in danger because just one hot dog contains the equivalent of 50-grams of processed meat.
We knew hot dogs couldn't have been "good" for you body, but we didn't know they could cause cancer! This may make us think twice before buying our next Dodger dog.

That must have been one good hot dog!
Pop superstar Miley Cyrus chowed down on a hot dog for lunch at a food truck in El Lay on Wednesday.
As a cordial compliment to the chef, she rubbed her tummy after she had downed the dog and let out a long moan of appreciation. Ha!
The tatted up singer must have been in a good mood because on top of her extra animated facial expressions, she took time to chat with the long line of customers waiting to be served outside the mobile eatery.
