Not only has this become a billboard, but it's become a controversial piece of news!
The Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine erected this billboard in Chicago. Because saying "butt cancer" is not hilarious and totally counts as "responsible medicine."
They put it up to help people in the hot-dog capital reduce their colorectal cancer risk.
Either way, it's kinda true: hot dogs and other processed meats are chockfull of cancer-causing nitrates, which greatly increase the risk of deadly colorectal cancer.
"But they taste good, so we're going to ignore what's been said," said baseball and picnic fans everywhere.
The one thing that's absolutely true is that the advertising campaign has worked — everyone is talking about it!
