Snails as large as rats have invaded parts of Florida, and despite their appearance - these things are capable of some real damage!

Their official name is Giant African land snails, and more than 117,000 have been found since late 2011 - with over a thousand more found each week!

And unlike another problem Florida had in the past - you can't fix this one with a recount!

In East Wenatchee, Washington, a family's guard dog was stolen from their home after the family walked in on the burglar feeding their dog!

Here's what the police said:

"He was standing there with the refrigerator door open and feeding their dog some pudding."

Nice burglar?

When the family confronted the robber, whose name is Jason L. McDaniel, he told them he broke into their home because he thought someone who he planned to murder was there, but realized it was the wrong house.

VH1’s reality show Couples Therapy may need to provide another kind of therapy pretty soon…

The show’s cast was evacuated from the house yesterday afternoon due to a fire that started in one of the rooms. Apparently, a production light burned through one of the couches. Hence the flames.

Well, this is like that fairy tale Goldilocks and the story of the three bears except in reverse!

A couple of bears broke into the home of a California resident and started eating all of the man's food!

The worst part for the guy was the food, which he had left uncovered albeit inside his own house, was his mom's special home cooked meal!

So he didn't even get to enjoy it!

Eventually the local police and animal control were able to make the bears flee and run away, but by that point - they had eaten everything!!!

Snake in the hole!

A house caught on fire after the homeowner tried to kill a snake by using fire!

The woman poured gasoline on the snake and lit it on fire. But the snake slithered into a bush which caught on fire, and subsequently toasted her house!

Her house burnt to the ground, and a neighbor's house was also badly damaged.

Why couldn't she of just let the snake be???
