A source explains:

"They are looking for a new house to move into together."

Wait, wasn't she only just going on and on about wanting to get away from the west coast?

Ashlee Simpson is definitely moving on.

The divorcee has been staying with her parents since her split with husband Pete Wentz, but now she feels it time's to get a place of her own.

Ashlee was spotted house-hunting with a real estate broker in the Beverly Hills area Saturday morning.

A source says:

"They drove by a few houses in the $3 to 4 million range. The homes were two-story traditional style homes in a family neighborhood. One of the houses was just up from the street from Coldwater Park where she and Pete like to take Bronx to play. Another plus was that the homes were also very close to [sister] Jessica's house, which would be nice for her."

Unfortunately, it didn't seem like Ashlee was able to find a place as the insider added:

Ashlee didn't get out of the car and was quiet and subdued. At one point, she was going to get out of the car but when she saw photographers she decided to stay in the car and then went home."

Aw, cheer up, Ash! We're sure you'll find a nice home for you and Bronx soon enough!

Thank the heavens! Let the invasion begin!

It looks as though The Situation may not be the only Jersey Shore castmember relocating permanently on the West Side, because multiple sources are confirming that both JWoww and our most beloved Snooki Snickers are separately considering taking on El Lay full-time!

According to insiders, JWoww has received "lots of offers for modeling contracts and endorsements" based in the city of angels, and is currently on the hunt for an apartment so she can further pursue her options!

Meanwhile, friends close to Snooks allege that the guidette also thinks it's time to leave the east coast behind!

They reveal:

"We were talking at her birthday party, and she said she just thought Los Angeles was a more mellow, cool place to live. She obviously loves home, but she feels California would be better because of the people. She's kind of ready to get away New Jersey and make a change."

It's like a two-for-one deal!

We'd love our gurls out here on a permanent basis! The West Coast wants you, bbs!

And it's gonna cost her!

Oprah Winfrey is on the market for a house on the East Coast.

The daytime queen, along with her three-car caravan, toured a $68 million English-manor-style mansion on the grounds of the old Frick estate in Alpine, New Jersey. The 30,300-square-foot home is part of the lavish Estates at Alpine, which is part of the most expensive zip code in the country.

Workers on the grounds were asked to vacate so the big O could check out the five-story, 19-bedroom and 12-bathroom house in peace.

"Her people requested that everyone leave the house so it would be empty when she walked through," claims a source .

The estate has walnut and marble floors with Venetian plaster walls, a carriage house, English gardens, a library, ballroom, movie theater, tennis court, saline pool and wine cellar.

Wowsa! How could you say no that?!

Heidi Klum was spotted driving around hubby Seal in their land yacht of a Bentley on Tuesday looking at homes in Calabasas.

Considering the area is more private and she has four kids all under the age of 6, the move would make sense.
