NOOOOO! Netflix Is Dropping All Of Its BBC Programming At The End Of January!

Filed under: TV NewsAnglophiliaTech TalkSad Sad

netflix removing all bbc programming awful sad

WOW, not cool, Netflix, NOT COOL AT ALL.

Fans of BBC shows are not gonna be happy with the popular streaming service because they're taking off all the programs from across the pond.

On January 31st, 2015 all the shows from Doctor Who to Luther to Torchwood to Top Gear to EVERYTHING!

How effing TERRIBLE is that?!?

The longtime partnership between Netflix and the BBC is expiring at the end of the month and so far there's absolutely ZERO hope that they will EVER renew it.

Well, we're being a bit dramatic there, but it's basically TRUE.

Reportedly the companies are struggling to come to terms on a renewal contract so instead of pleasing their people, they're taking EVERYTHING AWAY FROM THEM!

AWFUL.

We're hoping that they can put their differences aside and make everyone happy, but just in case they don't, then you can CLICK HERE to sign a petition to at least keep Doctor Who on Netflix.

Kevin Spacey Wins The Golden Globe Award For Best Actor In A TV Drama Series! Finally!

Finally! Kevin Spacey finally gets to address the camera in a non-Richard-the-Third-esque way!

After being nominated 8 times, Kevin just won the award for Best Actor in a TV Drama Series for his portrayal of the Machiavellian Frank Underwood on House of Cards.

We'd call that Golden Globe Awards history!

Competing against enormously talented individuals, Kevin beat out Liev Schreiber on Ray Donovan on Showtime, Clive Owen on The Knick on Cinemax, James Spader on The Blacklist on NBC, and Dominic West on The Affair on Showtime.

Congrats, Kevin!

Congrats to The Affair!

The fabulous show won the Best TV Drama Series at the Golden Globe Awards.

The cast, including Ruth Wilson and Joshua Jackson, proudly accepted the well-deserved award.

Considering the show has only been on Showtime for one season, we're very impressed that it beat out Game of Thrones, Downton Abbey, The Good Wife, and House of Cards!

Bravo!

Robin Wright & Kate Mara Are A Tumbling House Of Cards On The Emmys Red Carpet

emmy awards emmys 2014 kate mara robin wright red carpet

Robin Wright and Kate Mara may be wonderful on House Of Cards, but on this year's Emmys red carpet they're a losing hand.

Robin is a gorgeous woman, but her hair and custom Ralph Lauren pantsuit combine for a look that's just a bit too mannish for her.

Kate's outfit, on the other hand, is just WAY too busy. It takes a lot of work to make someone so beautiful look like such a mess, and someone DEF put in the work on this gown.

Things going every which way, clashing styles. Is this a J Mendel or an MC Escher?
