The Montana House of Representatives has passed a bill that may make it legal for motorists to eat their roadkill!
That's super gross!
The bill was introduced to the house to allow "game animals, fur-bearing animals, migratory game birds and upland game birds" to be used for food after being killed by a car.

What are we going to do with you, Donald Trump?
Following Barack Obama's re-election last night, the Apprentice star shockingly revealed his distaste for America's decision in an epic meltdown on Twitter.
Although the night started out optimistically as he encouraged his followers to vote for Mitt Romney, any hope for change turned to anger and rage. Once it was clear that the Republican was losing nearly every battleground state, Trump began planning a revolution and called for a "march on Washington."
We say go for it! It's about time that billionaires got a taste of pepper spray. LOLz!

Woo hoo! Now that's what we call progress, baby!
The U.S. Senate passed a new law on Thursday, which tweaks the Violence Against Women Act to offer protections for LGBT survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse.
Previously, the bill enacted in 1994 had no LGBT-inclusive provisions and some senators even tried to pass an amendment which would have completely excluded LGBT victims from the bill's protection. THANKFULLY, they did not succeed.

Score one for the home team!
Following Wednesday's blackout and the Senate postponing voting on the Protect IP Act, the House has decided to redraft the Stop Online Piracy Act.
Lead sponsor and House Judiciary Committee head Lamar Smith (R-TX) wanted to push SOPA through the committee but decided to back down.

This is a HUGE accomplishment for equality!
We couldn't be happier that she's doing what is right!
Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, a Republican from Florida, announced today that she will be co-sponsoring the bill to repeal the federal Defense of Marriage Act, making her the second of her party to join the LGBT Equality Caucus, alongside Richard Hanna of New York!
She says:

Not just both being delicious, according to politician Allen West!
The Florida representative recently gave an interview, during which he was asked if the gay civil rights issue was similar to the movement for African Americans, to which he actually responded:

After it was revealed that he had been in contact with a 17-year-old girl via Twitter messaging, Anthony Weiner has announced that he'll be taking a leave of absence from Congress, "to seek professional treatment to focus on becoming a better husband and healthier person."
According to a statement from his rep:
"[Congressman Weiner] will request a short leave of absence from the House of Representatives so that he can get evaluated and map out a course of treatment to make himself well. Congressman Weiner takes the views of his colleagues very seriously and has determined that he needs this time to get healthy and make the best decision possible for himself, his family and his constituents."
This is probably for the best.
Such an unfortunate shame, but this latest development goes beyond being a horndog, and we truly hope he's taking this time to take a long and hard look at his behavior, so he can better himself in the future.
