RoboCop rebooted a man into a machine.
Then Hollywood decided to reboot RoboCop.
Now they're rebooting the cast.
Clive Owen is in talks to replace Hugh Laurie as the corrupt CEO (as opposed to a benevolent CEO?) of Omnicorp, the technology corporation that creates Robocop.
Clive would join Gary Oldman, Samuel L. Jackson, Abbie Cornish, and The Killing's Joel Kinnaman in the wasteland that is
current future Detroit.
The half man, half machine, all cop is expected to hit theaters in August 2013.

OoOoh! What is this!?!
Looks like a dry, clever film starring Hugh Laurie and the incomparable Leighton Meester, that's what!
As you can see from the trailer (above), Hugh and Leighton play lovers… but there's one small catch. She's only 24 and he's obviously an older friend of the family.
…which means he probably saw her go through puberty. Weird!
But strange or not, they wanna

Samuel L. Jackson, Gary Oldman, Hugh Laurie, Abbie Cornish and Joel Kinnaman aren't scheduled to start shooting the RoboCop reboot until September, but producers are already teasing fans.
A viral video (above) has hit the web in the form of a mock commercial for Omnicorp — the company that creates the technology so that Alex Murphy can be turned into the world's first robotic police officer.
The fictional advertisement suggests that a futuristic New York is patrolled by flying robotic drones and giant walking guns that attacked the Ewoks in Return of the Jedi. We last heard that Dr. House is playing the evil boss of the ominously-named defense company and it sounds like he's going to have quite the grip over the Big Apple by the time RoboCop is created.
Fans of the classic sci-fi franchise can't miss this one, so ch-ch-check out the first teaser for the upcoming remake!

Well, it’s more likely he’ll be trying to strip the metal protector off of his shiny body parts…
Because Dr. House has been cast as the main ne’re-do-well against Joel Kinnaman’s Robocop!
Hugh Laurie will star in the 80’s cult classic remake as

Reunited, and it feels so good!
Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie are together after 13 years of doing their own thang.
Whoa, that’s a looooong separation!!
The duo will lend their vocal talents to the upcoming animated feature, The Canterville Ghost — an adaptation of the classic Oscar Wilde tale about an American family stuck in a haunted British mansion.
Hugh and Stephen were famous for their BBC sketch-comedy back near the turn of the century, starring most notably in the well-received A Bit of Fry & Laurie.
These guys are
HIGHlarious HUGHlarious and they're working with the production company that brought us Gnomeo & Juliet so we're pretty confident this one will be comedic gold!!

Watch the video above, stat!
twenty-three eight seasons on the air, everyone’s favorite crotchety doctor hangs up his stethoscope for good on Monday.
Many sources report Dr. House will kick the proverbial bucket in the finale episode and when Hugh Laurie stopped by The Tonight Show, Leno grilled him for
In an embarrassingly fake British accent, Hugh gives strong indications that he might not live through House's final episode.
What do U think might kill him?
We cast our vote for a rare flesh-eating virus!!
