Well what do you know? He is still in the biz?! Good for him!
If you're a child of the 90s, you only know Jaleel White by one name - Urkel. He's been out of the limelight for awhile, but he's landed a pretty sweet gig on one of the biggest shows in primetime.
It's been confirmed that Jaleel will
As we mentioned on Wednesday, Hugh Laurie is the new face of L'Oreal's male cosmetics and he's taking his new job seriously.
To prove he's worth it, the star of House made a short video about why he's the most unconventional, moodiest anti-model ever.
Check out the HIGHlarious bit in the clip (above)!
And if House is checked out of House, then there's really no point to having House, right? (Did you follow that?)
The cast of House got exciting news this week when FOX revealed they were renewing the show for its eight season. While the renewal is something to celebrate, it also begs the question if this might be the show's final season. For one thing, it got its pick-up fairly late in the game - never a good sign.
But also, star Hugh Laurie isn't really convinced the show had a season nine in it - or him. When asked about the show's future, he replied:
"The end of that [eighth] season looks like the end of the show. That's as far as they've got me for."
We think that's pretty fair. Eight seasons is a really good run and we know Hugh has other aspirations to attend to, like his music and his family back in England. Besides, perhaps the writers will find a way to wrap it up perfectly with an end in sight.
Finally! Some answers!
On last night's episode of House, Olivia Wilde made her glorious return as Dr. Remy "Thirteen" Hadley, after being M.I.A. from the show's seventh season for almost its entirety so far - and we know we happened to her!
WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD FOR THOSE NOT CAUGHT UP ON HOUSE!
As everyone knows in real-life, Wilde politely requested some time off from the show so that she could focus on her film career, but as for her fictional counterpart, no one exactly knew what had happened to her!
In last night's episode, Hugh Laurie's House discovered that Thirteen had been in JAIL for six months, and although she gave him varying explanations as to why, her boss was just not convinced!
However, the truth FINALLY came out during a spud-gun competition - YEAH, random! - when Thirteen revealed that her brother also carried the dominant mutation that brings on Huntington's Disease, and she agreed to euthanize him when his symptoms became too much.
She finally agrees to re-join the team when House says he'll do the same for her when she begins to suffer, as well.
Pretty epic - AND heartwrenching!
But we ARE happy to see her back on the show, even though it's unclear how long it will last! As much as we've been intrigued with Amber Tamblyn's Martha Masters, it's good to have Thirteen back!
What do U think?? Are U excited for Olivia Wilde's return?
House fans may be out of luck.
With May sweeps coming up fast, Fox has yet to close any deals with House producers.
Owned by NBCUniversal, the studio is hoping that the show's network, Fox, will pick up the show for its eighth season, extending their negotiations until April 15.
If the two sides can't come to an agreement, NBCU plans to take the show to other networks, including, of course NBC.
Another thing that is keeping both sides from agreeing on a deal is that several of the show's cast members are currently negotiating their contracts as well.
None of them have yet signed on to another season with one of its stars, Robert Sean Leonard, hinting that he may leave at the end of this season.
In FACT, he's already committed to going back on stage and doing a Broadway revival of Born Yesterday that will coincide with the production of House's eighth season.
So much dramz!!
Things aren't looking good for the show. With production costs getting more expensive and a fall in viewership, the cards are definitely stacked up against them.
Hmm, we don't know.
What do U think? Does House have a chance of coming back?
Forget his cane! Hugh Laurie is all about his axe!!!
Sources report that Hugh recently played a private blues show at a small bar in New Orleans for a very select audience.
The show was to launch the beginning of Hugh's promotional tour for his debut album, Let Them Talk, which is out in May. In announcing his first solo musical venture, Hugh told sources:
"I was not born in Alabama in the 1890s. I've never eaten grits, cropped a share, or ridden a boxcar. I am a white, middle-class Englishman, openly trespassing on the music and myth of the American south. If that weren't bad enough, I'm also an actor - one of those pampered ninnies who can't find his way through an airport without a babysitter."
Ha! But even still, he makes great music! We loved to see him jam all the times he played with Band from TV! Plus, he is a self-taught musician, so he gets extra points for that!
Are any of U looking forward to his first album?
