Girl Is Looking For Easter Eggs & Instead Stumbles Upon A Snake!

We feel so bad for this little girl!

Here she is just minding her own business, trying to find some brightly colored eggs - when a snake interrupted her quest!

And scared her silly!

We sympathize with the little lady as we were frightened by that snake, and we weren't even there!!!

Stay strong, girl.

That snake is just jealous that you get to hunt eggs on Easter, and it doesn't.

Check it out by watching the video (above) !!!

Major Advertiser Pulls Out Of Celebrity Apprentice Because Of Trump's Sons' Hunting Trip

Filed under: TV NewsBusiness BlitzAnimal CrueltyHunting

ad-puls-out-of-trump.jpg

Every day we're learning more and more about the backlash caused by Donald Trump's sons' big game hunting trip.

A major advertiser has decided to no longer associate themselves with the show, Celebrity Apprentice.

The CEO of Camping World, Marcus Lemonis said:

"I wouldn't spend another nickel with them.

I am totally disgusted by the [hunting] pics I have seen and was surprised to see them … Money is spent but wow I'm really shocked."

Maybe if Donald Sr. was a little more outspoken against the hunting his advertisers might have given him a little more leeway.

Though we totally understand not wanting to be associated with such a cruel practice.

Puerto Rico Wants To Kill Millions Of Iguanas And Sell Their Meat

iguana-killin-pr.jpg

In Puerto Rico, there are literally more iguanas than people.

They outnumber them 4 million to 3.9 million.

The secretary of their Department of Natural Resources said:

"This is a very big problem. We have to attack it. It has impacted structures, the economy, crops and the ecosystem."

The iguana can grow up to 6 feet and live up to 20 years!!

That's crazy.

It started in the 1970s when iguana owners started to realize their 'too large' lizards and now their population has exploded.

They occupy airport runways, burrow under buildings (ruining the foundation) and cause blackouts after building their nests near the warmth of electric plants.

So they plan to hunt the iguanas and export their meat.

Many government high ups in Puerto Rico believe this will not only thin out the population, it will bring in much needed money to the country, currently in a recession.

We don't think killing is the answer. Hopefully conservationists will find a humane way to deal with the problem.

Could The Canadian Seal Slaughter Be Nearing Its End?

save-ths-eals-canada-hunt.jpg

In Newfoundland every year, tons of seals are bludgeoned to death during the annual seal hunt.

Pretty much everyone ever wants the hunt to end, except Canadian law makers, who go to extremes to find someone to buy the pelts even though almost no one wants them and they're not allowed in US borders.

A member of the Canadian parliament said:

"Part of our history is also whaling, for example, and the day came when the whaling industry stopped.

Now, is that day coming with the seal hunt? It just may be."

He's only wondering aloud if murdering baby seals for their fur is wrong.

He's not even outright coming out against it and he's still under heavy fire from the evil seal hunters and horrible politicians who are vested in the seal hunt.

Ever since Russia (the biggest buyer of seal skins) closed its borders to seal fur, Canada has begun rethinking its stance on the hunt.

The parliament member said:

"We cannot hide behind the debate and pretend that the market for seals is not in trouble. Facing this reality head on is the only way to address this situation."

That market only made 1 million dollars last year. That's not even a drop in the bucket.

And they had to murder baby seals to make that meager amount.

It's no industry; it's just sad, backward and cruel.

C'mon Canada, end the seal hunt!

Russia Bans Importing Seal Skin

russia-bans-seal-imports.jpg

The yearly Canadian seal hunt is a cruel and disgusting practice where seals are literally clubbed to death for their fur.

The European Union (EU) banned seal product imports back in 2009, so that cut off a huge market for the seal hunt.

Now that Russia has banned the import of harp seal products, the Canadians only have China left to sell their products to, and their deal with China has been postponed.

Russia ended their seal hunt in 2009, calling it a "bloody industry" and now they've banned imports, a big step.

The International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) played a huge part in getting the ban through.

They said:

"IFAW’s campaign efforts have a history of successes in Russia, beginning with our efforts to end the slaughter of whitecoat seal pups by helicopter in the White Sea. Our teams observed and documented the Russian harp seal hunt in the White Sea in 1995 for the first time, and we were the first organization to campaign to end the Russian seal slaughter.

Documentaries of the White Sea hunt were produced and widely shown on Russian television, along with photos and news articles. Thanks to IFAW, the Russian seal hunt could not remain hidden, and this cruel slaughter soon became public knowledge.

The Belarus-Kazakhstan-Russian trade ban is a significant victory that should be celebrated by all concerned with animal welfare and wildlife conservation…The time has come to acknowledge that the world does not want, nor need, cruel seal products. It is time to stop commercial seal hunting once and for all."

So hopefully this will lead to an end in the Canadian seal hunt, now that their buyers are leaving them.

C'mon Canada, get with the program!

Japan Plans Winter Whale Genocide Hunt

Japan whale hunters

Japan has said that it still plans to slaughter hunt whales this winter, despite pleas from activists everywhere.

They say they are doing "research" so nothing illegal is going on but anti-whaling activists say the whale meat ends up being sold to restaurants.

The Japanese killed almost 200 whales in just the South Ocean last season.

The Japanese have hired an agency to guard their whaling vessels during the hunt, but the anti-whalers are ready for a fight, saying:

"They will have to kill us to prevent us from intervening once again. … We will undertake whatever risks to our lives will be required to stop this invasion of arrogant greed into what is an established sanctuary for the whales."

That's what we like to hear! Save the whales!
