The Hunt Continues For Pythons In Everglades

The month long Python Challenge is going strong, and while we still wish there was a more humane way of doing this, the environment will be rid of a few snakes.

As previously reported, Burmese pythons are (running?) slithering rampant through the Florida Everglades and the Python Challenge has asked Floridians to hunt down the snakes.

Burmese pythons are not native to Florida (or the Western Hemisphere for that matter) and the local ecosystem is suffering because of them.

Take a gander (above) at a special report behind the challenge.

Again…can't there be a more humane way of doing this!?!

Hunting….we just don't understand it!!!!!

Humane society officials are "relieved" that 11 skinned animals found in Pennsylvania have turned out to be foxes, and not puppies as originally believed.

While it is legal to hunt foxes in Pennsylvania from October to February, hunters usually properly dispose their kills, and this discovery is absolutely appalling.

Another gruesome skinning is under investigation as a large unidentified animal was found skinned with
