Awesome music AND shirtless, ripped surfers carving up the waves? Sounds like heaven! Ha!
This year's 2011 Nike US Open of Surfing, taking place in Huntington Beach, California, has an incredible line-up of bands set to entertain the thousands of fans spectating the incredible surfers competing in the event.
Sponsored by Hurley, the company's Director of Music and Entertainment Marketing, says:
"It's fun bringing some of the best musicians in the world to the US Open of Surfing. It doesn't get much better than hearing your favorite band perform live on the beach."
Actually, it does get better because it's FREE! Yeap, totally free! You just have to be at the beach that day.
Between August 4 and 6, fans can watch Jimmy Eat World, MGMT, The Sounds, Walk The Walk, Dead Country, and Surfer Blood perform live at the conclusion of the competition.
