NYC Aquarium May Need To Evacuate 12K Animals Due To Hurricane Sandy

Over 12,000 marine animals could be without a home due to Hurricane Sandy.

The New York Aquarium is Coney Island is without full power like much of the city and they are in dire straits.

The aquarium is flooded and the animals may need to be evacuated while workers work on restoring filtration and life support systems.

NHL Asks Fans To Help Hurricane Sandy Victims

The NHL hasn't been doing much lately, other than not agreeing with anything the player's union says and pissing off hockey fans everywhere.

Finally, they've done something good.

Not in regards to hockey though, things still look as bleak as ever.

The NHL is asking that their fans donate to the Red Cross disaster relief fund to help victims of Hurricane Sandy.

A show insider explains it all, saying MTV really wants to get the Jersey Shore gang together for a clean-up special in Seaside Heights following the devastation of Hurricane asshole Sandy.

Luckily, the Jersey Shore house was able to survive the storm, but countless other homes lost themselves in the Frankestorm. And that's where MTV wants to come in and help.

While our hearts still go out to those affected by the superstorm known as Hurricane Sandy, it's good to see some folks making the best of the situation.

Donnie Wahlberg & Celebs Tweet Hurricane Sandy Destruction

Hurricane Sandy doesn’t care if you are a celeb or not — you better move out of her way!

The massive superstorm has been wreaking havoc on the east coast, causing major flooding in NYC and areas nearby.

While some Big Apple-based stars took to Twitter to document the damage, New Kids On The Block bandmate, Donnie Wahlberg, whipped out his phone to shoot some footage!

Check out the vid (above) that Donnie uploaded, of him walking through nearly a foot of water in his flooded apartment!

Wow… we cannot even believe the destruction Sandy has sadly already caused.
