Houston Pets Alive founder Andrea Birkelbach (above, right) has been incredibly busy in the wake of Hurricane Harvey.

Between rescuing lost and abandoned animals and taking in pets people who lost their homes can't care for right now, she didn't even notice she had an Oscar winner volunteering for her!

Birkelbach says someone literally tapped her on the shoulder and said:

"'Just so you know, Renee Zellweger is over there cleaning kennels and doing your laundry.'"

The founder was stunned. Birkelbach told TODAY she found out Zellweger had been volunteering for hours — but no one knew because she didn't ask for any celeb treatment:

'Y'all Are My Family': Watch Beyoncé & Blue Ivy Visit Hurricane Harvey Survivors In Houston

Yasss!

Take note, Kirk Cameron. This is what it looks like when someone uses faith to bring people hope and unity, not to scare people into blind obsequiousness.

Beyoncé returned home on Friday, along with Blue Ivy Carter and mom Tina Knowles Lawson, to deliver a message of love.

First the Knowles-Carter fam, along with Destiny's Child sister Michelle Williams, took some time to personally serve food to 400 Harvey flood survivors!

Then Queen Bey took the stage at St. Johns Church in Houston, Texas, to speak to Hurricane Harvey survivors, to whom she referred as her "family," saying:

If all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail. And if all you have is religion, everything looks like a message from God.

Thankfully, we have screwdrivers. And the reason we have screwdrivers is because we have science.

Kirk Cameron, who doesn't have access to science because his religion tells him it's evil, can draw no other conclusion from back-to-back hurricanes than that they're God's will.

Video: Seriously Terrifying Hurricane Irma Footage

All the death and destruction isn't because humans are doing their best to survive a habitable but not always perfectly hospitable planet; it's because his God wants to teach us a lesson.

In a Facebook video shared on Thursday, he even laughed off any other explanation, saying:

Let's take a minute to appreciate the locals who are busting their asses to help their neighbors affected by Hurricane Harvey.

Take, for example, the folks at Sake Sushi Bar and Lounge in Port Arthur, TX, who are doing everything they can to provide delicious meals to those who are running out of food.

Video: This Hurricane Irma Footage Is Terrifying

Keith Nguyen took to Facebook to applaud his father Phe Nguyen and uncle Binh Nguyen, who own the restaurant, along with their staff and volunteers after they prepared a whopping 5,000 meals in 3 days for victims, first responders, and other volunteers.

Though the Sake Sushi Bar owners weren't looking for a shout out, Keith decided to highlight their compassion with some social media promotion, especially since their efforts weren't covered by the media.

Rainforest Cafe Waiter Fired After Telling 'Cheap' Hurricane Evacuees To 'Drown' & 'Die Slow'

You'd think people who have to deal with constant rain showers in the workplace would be more sympathetic to flood evacuees…

Sadly, that wasn't the case for one cranky Rainforest Cafe employee who was fired after saying evacuees from Hurricane Harvey-stricken areas should "drown."

A waiter from the San Antonio, Texas restaurant was given the boot after penning a Facebook rant in which he complained about "cheap evacuees" allegedly asking for discounts and then not tipping him.

In a message posted to the San Antonio Craigslist Facebook page (srsly, was he trying to get fired?), he wrote:
