Emma Roberts is joining stars like Kanye West to raise money in the most fashionable way possible for Hurricane Sandy relief.

The actress is auctioning off a custom designed Escada gown, which she wore to the Met Gala last year.

Right now, the dress is at $445.00 with 37 bids, but there’s still time because the dress will be on the block until the end of Monday.

What a steal for a custom designer dress!

The proceeds from the dress will go to RE/CREATE New York to help the area rebuild after Hurricane Sandy.

We can't think of a better reason to drop some serious ca$$$h!

This is so great!

Designer and native New Yorker Michael Kors is helping the city get back on its feet after Hurricane Sandy by donating $1 million!

The Project Runway judge gave the chunk of change to the American Red Cross on behalf of his company. He talked about why he was moved to do it, saying:

"We are a company based in New York, inspired every day by the energy and beauty of our great city. The tragedy that Hurricane Sandy has left behind may seem insurmountable, but together, we can all pitch in and help those in need."

So true!

It’s shocking how serious and widespread the devastation still is. Anything to help the city get back to normal is AH-Mazing.

Thanks for helping out, Michael!

Macy's To Donate Thanksgiving Day Parade Tickets To Hurricane Sandy Victims

Amazing!

Macy's and NYC Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg are teaming up to provide a very special Thanksgiving Day treat to those affected by Hurricane Sandy.

The two have set aside 5,000 tickets for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and will be distributed by local elected officials in the hardest hit areas. Macy's will also provide transportation to and from the Turkey Day festivities.

Bloomberg hopes the distribution of tickets will make Thanksgiving feel a little more joyous for families, saying:

"Thanksgiving is a time to enjoy friends and family and reflect on life’s blessings, but this will be a particularly difficult holiday for many New Yorkers who suffered terrible losses as a result of Hurricane Sandy. So many people have been donating their time, energy, and resources to helping families hit hard by the storm recover, and we hope that taking part in a tradition like the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will make their holiday just a little brighter."

The parade’s executive producer, Ann Kule added she too hopes the tickets will "provide some comfort" and that they "leave the parade knowing that our 8,000 marchers, the city and the nation are behind them as they recover from this devastating storm."

Bravo, Macy's and Mayor Bloomberg! Bravo!

Marc Jacobs' $10 Million Townhouse Flooded By Sandy!

marc-jacobs-west-village-apartment-destroyed-by-hurricane-sandy.jpg

Even Marc Jacobs' New York City home wasn't immune to the powerful Hurricane Sandy!

The designer was forced out of his $10.5 million West Village townhouse last week after the hurricane left it completely flooded.

Marc's only lived at the Superior Ink location for a little over a year and says he has to find a completely new place to live.

In the meantime, MJ's taken up residence at The Mark Hotel in the Upper East Side with other displaced fashionistas like Anna Wintour and Carine Roitfeld.

Could be worse.
