2012 was an eventful year for animals to say the least.
But which animal stories set the world ablaze with cuteness, heartbreak, and endearment?
FIND OUT NOW!!!
Animal specialists from the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals opened shelter to house hundreds of animals as their owners were displaced from their homes due to Hurricane Sandy. Animals were given the opportunity for care for 30 days free of charge.
A local homeowner heard cries of kittens and reported that one had fallen into a drain pipe. The Michigan Humane Society Cruelty and Rescue team was able to save the kitten in good condition.
But, but… it's for a good cause!
For one reason or another, Kanye West is the only artist from last week's Madison Square Garden benefit concert whose performance wasn't included in the compilation album, 12-12-12 The Concert for Sandy Relief.
The reason for his absence isn't immediately clear, but sources claim the decision was made by the superstar rapper and/or his people!
Was it an off night for Kanye? Maybe he's embarrassed he wore a skirt on stage (above)?
Will the 13-song medley instead be the backing soundtrack to an inevitable Kanye & Kim Kardashian porn the entire world is breathlessly anticipating?!
We have NO idea!
Even Adam Sandler is happy to throw in his parody cover of Hallelujah; we can't fathom why Kanye would be reluctant to include his set!!
The concert album was released digitally on Tuesday is expected to sell around 150K units in its first week.

Ha, like you could ever possibly forget!
Now U have the chance to own the lacy fabric that covered KStew's granny panty-clad derriere because she's auctioning it off for charity!
Oh. Em. Gee.
The tragic consequences of Hurricane Sandy will never be forgotten, but neither will this amazeballz performance by Jon Bon Jovi and Bruce Springsteen at the 12-12-12 benefit concert!
Maybe Bruce should rewrite his little ditty and call it Born to
Run Rock, because these two New Jersey natives rocked our friggin' eardrums off last night!
Ch-ch-check out The Boss and JBJ's brilliant duet (above) right the eff now!
Seriously! DO IT! Or we can't be friends anymore!
The consequences of the deadly storm have been catastrophic, but we're consistently amazed by the resiliency of Americans to band together — no pun intended — in times of distress!
