But this weekend, one of Tay's hits managed to sneak back onto the streaming service — under a weird alias!
As of Monday morning, the songstress' 2012 hit I Knew You Were Trouble had been live on Spotify for three days — with almost 40 million plays (most of which came from when the original song was legitimately released by Swift)!
But it wasn't under the artist name Taylor Swift but rather the copyright was attributed to former rock star and convicted sex offender Ian Watkins and his band Lostprophets!
The streaming service quickly took down the track Monday when it realized the mistake, saying the situation was "very weird."
