Bradley Cooper Is Devilish, In Talks To Star In Paradise Lost

bradley cooper in talks for paradise lost

Way to expand those horizons, Mr. Cooper!

Bradley Cooper may be continuing on with the Hangover franchise, but he's def also looking to prove himself as a versatile actor, and he just may get that chance in an upcoming film adaptation of John Milton's Paradise Lost.

The Hangover star is currently in early talks to take on the role of Lucifer (The Devil) in I, Robot/Dark City director Alex Proyas' film, which revolves around "the epic war in heaven between archangels Michael and Lucifer."

Sounds like an exciting role…let's just hope that Proyas and his team treat this film with LOTS of care. Paradise Lost is a widely respected/loved epic 17th-century poem which has been a staple in academic atmospheres for years!

So yeah, don't screw this up guys!

…No pressure though. LOLz.

Do U think Bradley Cooper would make a good Lucifer in Paradise Lost?

The Martian Chronicles Of Narnia Is Coming!

the martian chronicles film in the works

After Battle: Los Angeles, maybe it's not such a bad idea for Hollywood to take us to another planet…

Sources are saying that Paramount has picked up the rights to Ray Bradbury's The Martian Chronicles, which is a classic short story collection from the 1940s about humans attempting to start colonies on Mars.

The film is being is produced by Predators/I, Robot producer John Davis, and the stories will deal with the following:

- Humans attempting to settle Mars and Martians attempting to fight against them

- Human colonization of Mars, followed by a nuclear war that causes most humans to leave the planet and go back to Earth

- Humans becoming the "new Martians"

Previously, The Martian Chronicles was adapted as a mini-series in 1980 by NBC/The BBC.

Paramount hasn't found a writer for the film yet, so hopefully they'll find someone who can do justice to the original short story collection AND the mini-series.

Maybe they should just have James Cameron write this. The subject matter is pret-ty similar to Avatar…or perhaps we should say that Avatar's subject matter is similar to this…

Are U excited for this new adaptation of The Martian Chronicles? Who would U like to see sign on to write and/or direct???
