Tegan & Sara Are Fools For Love In EXCLUSIVE, Live Performance!

We are fools for many things — love being one of them — but lately we've been getting SO foolish over indie pop act Tegan and Sara, so much so that we featured their song Closer in our most recent "Can YOU Sing?!" contest!

So, obviously, we were GEEKING like a just-touched-Justin Belieber when the duo recently stopped by and played a couple of tunes from their dynamic, versatile new album Heartthrob!

Ch-ch-check out Tegan and Sara's live performance of emotional ballad I Was A Fool (above), which was recorded exclusively for PH.com readers!

AND, if you missed it, CLICK HERE and open your ears to their intimate version of Closer.

Oh oh oh exquisite!

In fact, we adore Tegan and Sara SO much, we've included them on our second Pop Up! album! Get all the deets on the collection, including the other featured artists, HERE!

Tegan And Sara's I Was A Fool Music Video Released! Watch HERE!!

We already thought Tegan and Sara’s song, I Was A Fool, was totally amazeballz.

But now that we’ve seen the music video that goes along with it, we love it even more!!!!

Everyone is a fool for love at least once in their lives, right!?!? We think so, and the lyrical mastery of this song expresses that perfectly. The visuals that go along with those lyrics express that too, and in a way we ADORE — through what seems to be a lesbian love story!

Tegan and Sara were our heroes for promoting marriage equality once before, and now they've done it again!

The main character in their vid, played by Mae Whitman, is a lonely lover pining for the lost love of someone named Sidney. Our bet is that Sid’s a girl — a bet supported by the fact that Mae is no stranger to playing gay roles. Remember her in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World??

The video is hauntingly beautiful in this and many other regards!!

Ch-ch-check it out! (above)
