Remembering Whitney Houston, One Year Later

Today marks the one year anniversary of the day that we lost one of music’s most legendary and iconic singers, Whitney Houston.

While it’s hard to believe that a year has already passed, we know her music and that beautiful smile of hers will forever and always live on.

Though many will try, none will ever come close to the absolutely amazing talent that she was.

Check out one of Whitney’s most powerful performances (above) of One Moment In Time, at the 1989 Grammy Awards.

No one could ever compare!!! So powerful…!!

Our thoughts go out to those closest to Nippy today, especially to Bobbi Kristina and Whitney’s mother, Cissy Houston.

Rest in peace, Whitney… we will always love and miss you!

According to new reports, she has signed a development deal with the LGBT-oriented network alongside comedian Ron Zimmerman for a series set in early 1960s Hollywood…and the icon very well may have an on-screen role!

Was Susan Boyle "Drugged" During Vegas Performance With Donny Osmond?!

Susan Boyle has made no secret of the fact that she grew up idolizing Donny Osmond, so when she got the opportunity to perform This Is A Moment as a duet with him for her new album, and then perform it live together earlier this week on Dancing With The Stars, we weren't entirely surprised to see that nerves got the best of her!

However, the wildly successful singer continued her tour with the former teen icon at the Las Vegas venue he shares with sister Marie last night, and according to members of the audience, SuBo's behavior was SO alarming that they even feared she might be on drugs!

Katy Perry Is Rio's Spiritual Sweetheart!

It seems Katy Perry was feeling a little religiously-inclined promoting Katy Perry: Part of Me 3D Tuesday in Brazil.

So the record-making, bursting bundle of colorful light took a trip to Rio's FAMED Christ the Redeemer statue (above)!

Kaypers does have quite a God-centric background, but while the statue is a religious icon, it is also culturally, historically AND architecturally important to the country of Brazil!

Way to take in some of the local sights, Katy!

We wonder… did you find inspiration for your dark & twisty third album in stone-Christ's gynormous arms?

Chris Hughes facebook official

Yay!

Just in time for Facebook co-founder Chris Hughes (left) to marry his longtime love, Sean Eldridge (right), in New York City last Saturday, the social networking website has introduced marriage status icons that depict same-sex couples.

When openly gay couples changed their status to "married" in the past, an icon of a man and woman appeared in the timeline. Now, however, the icon will represent two men or two women accordingly.

The recent update follows last year's addition of
